I mentioned this already I think, but I miss the filler episodes of Bleach.
Everything else was great though.

Tonight was my first time watching Eureka 7.

Why did I pass it up all those times?

If you don't know why all those kids call Eureka "Mama", it's because she killed their parents and decided to adopt the kids as an act of penance for killing them. I forget if she was in some kind of super-mode or what when she killed the parents.

Toonami was great. I find it hilarious that in Eureka 7, when the Gekkostate got paid in FUCKING GOLD BARS, they claimed that this was not that much cheddar. I guess gold is more common on the planet that it takes place on, but still..

Either that or the ship takes a fuckload of cheddar to keep flying and operating, what with being massive enough for a fleet of giant robots to fit comfortably inside.

Oh no Ichigo powered up into a hollow who could have seen that coming
Kikujo is still my favorite
Leida is even crazier than Dio
And my god those booty shots of Talho

Oh, and Tom had a speech on hate.

Watching Toonami via DVR now. I loved Tom's promo about haters.

TOM talked about how haters will always be there, but you should ignore them and focus on the critics. Criticism is can be healthy, but the haters are never worth listening to.

I always liked the end of the Ulquiorra fight. He didn't have a breakdown like Aizen or some other characters did, and everything was neatly wrapped up without playing into the drama.

Ichigo offering to cut off his arm and leg still comes across as stupid.

Thank you Kamak, pretty much said what I wanted to, but better.

And I yelped a weird little pop flyin' sad when (spoliered just in case) Hollow Ichigo impaled Uryu

That end to Samurai 7, Komachi, please just stop crying, I don't think I can handle it. :(
And Casshern looks like a Lyuze episode, and why is this so sad, I mean I know the whole show is a rollercoaster of sobs, but goddamn...

Today's week in review:
Rather than letting Ichigo finish off Ulquiorra so he doesn't get back up and oh I don't know slash part of him off or something (he did, but just a horn), Uryu decides that out of all the Arrancar he's killed up to this point, THIS GUY, known sociopath, shouldn't be killed. And Uryu is supposed to be the smart one who doesn't care about morality in his fights!
You know, they've SEEN Kiku get his head cut off before, you'd think they'd be a little less worried that he flew off on a runaway train.
Why were part of Lyuze's dreams in Detroit? Who was that black guy and what was he doing there? What was with all the still monochrome photos of a woman? Why was something shattering every 10 seconds? Psycho dreams that's why!
I was under the impression Renton was going to whoop the kids at some point. Imagine my disappointment.
