Let's Play Super Mario Bros. 3

Oh hi, there. For a long time I liked talking while playing games, and I had decided to begin an "LP" channel, where I could play and have some fun. I had some failed attempts before, mostly because of:

-> Not enough time
-> Computer was really old
-> Lost one game I was doing
-> Realized that I should be me instead of trying to be like other people.

So after I got everything figured out, I thought I was ready to give another go at this "LPing" sort of stuff. And I think what I do most in my videos so far, is... well... sing.
Mostly because this game has some really epic music, even if it does gets a little boring after a while.

I'm still an amateur to this sort of stuff, but I think my editing, so far, is good for what I had in mind. I'm also an amateur in commentary, and in Playing, but I intend to get better.

I have 4 videos so far, because after some failed attempts I wanted to make sure I had gotten "a little far" in the progression of the game, so I had something to show every now and then.

And really, I'm not gonna trash this page with 4 videos in a row.

So yes, I'm gonna put episode one in here, and hope to have some constructive feedback, either in here, or on the actual video.. If you REALLY liked, however, you know the drill. Not going to bother anyone with SUBSCRIBE TO ME, Please! :@

I'm legitimately having fun playing this game, and I want to know how I can get better. And if you've played the game already, maybe know something more about the game, some secrets...

Here's a quick description:
Super Mario Bros. 3
Originally made for the NES (in 1990) and remade to the Gameboy Advance.
A neat platformer that will be played by a 16 year old with no common sense.

Yeah, I realized after recording that it was a little strange, however, when recording these videos, I try "not to focus", so I can act more naturally, and I just say whatever comes into my mind. You'll see that throughout the videos, I begin singing or humming to the music without even realizing.

(Not as drastically as the opening, however, hehe.)

I'll try to control myself more from now on. I just like making lyrics up on the spot.

Don't listen to Liraxus. I watched a LOT of LPs in my time, and the ones that are the most popular are the ones with a quirk or the ones who say non sequitur often. Just be yourself really, and don't try and change yourself.

Forced changes are bad changes.

One little thing you can change though, is always italicizing and bolding your posts. you could do without that.

Well, thanks for all your opinions so far, and I know I won't be able to stop humming to songs and such, but I realize the first one from the Intro appeared to be "me pushing the bar", because it's the intro, and people expect "something" for the intro, but it popped in my mind and I begin to sing it.

This time, we finish World 4 in one episode, I do a Facecam that's a bit off-synced to the actual audio, and we speed things up near the end.

Yup, when I was speeding up some parts, I accidentaly sped up the FaceCam too, and it got a little ahead of the video

Really wish I could edit that, but I can't anymore, as I accidentaly erased the file for that video. Oops..

Yup, Part 6 is here.
From this part on, NO MORE AUDIO ISSUES.
The Audio is now "perfectly" synced to the video. Both commentary and gameplay sound.

There's a single editing error, that might or not be noticeable while you're watching, and for some reason, silly Youtube added a few seconds to the video. Silly youtube.

Once again, want to know your thoughts on it.
We're past half the LP. How many deaths will I have? Answer it! :3



Also, If anyone has the time, can you send to me through this topic the time that each level from a video begins, because I'm kinda busy right now. Only for new videos, not old ones.

Still, gotta fix some anotations.

It's Beginning to look just like an Ice World...

...oh, boy here we go.



I'm thinking what my next LP should be, and It's probably not going to be so straight forward, so if you know the game, I'll try to make it more interactive.

Also, I'm gonna take a break for a few days to fix audio issues.
