I'm pretty sure I read that the .5 sec delay and other performance issues are caused by the fact that the engine the game uses is based on a 7-year-old beta.
I'm not even kidding.

Bioware is making it very difficult for me to like them. So back to my earlier problem with them not wanting to accept the American Express card I had. Well I went out to Gamestop and bought two 60-day game time cards. When I went to apply them I got an error message stating "Validation Error occurred, please try again" So I go back and I try the code on one again and bam it tells me "This code has already been used."

So I think to myself, "Okay maybe it worked if it says it's been used" So I go and try the next card, I get the same message "Validation Error occurred, please try again" I try it again, bam "This code has already been used." So I'm like "Wtf is wrong with this website." I go to see how much game time I have, it hasn't updated. So I kept playing because I could still play, but now it tells me that I don't have an active subscription and that there's no game time on my account. I still can't add the codes because it tells me they've been used and I sent an email to their customer service the day I got the errors but I haven't received an email from them other than the fact that I have no sub for the game. I just sent another but I doubt it'll do anything.

Also, I tried to call them but apparently the number they have listed doesn't even work. My phone wouldn't ring and then after a while it just gave me a dead tone like the number doesn't exist.

I do NOT want to go back to gamestop and spend another $30 just to have that card error on me and then have that cheddar wasted.

Yeah that blows. Just make sure you save everything in case they ask for 'em. You should also scan a copy of your Gamestop receipt in case they ask for proof of purchase (if you don't have a receipt you should be able to get another printed out at the Gamestop).

Just a reminder, if they ever mess with your subscription (ie you paying it and still not being able to play) you can just order a charge-back from your bank. Unfortunately this won't work with gametime cards.

My problem was that it didn't even take the card code, it gave me an error that it didn't work and to try again, then it told me the code was already used. So it the website is telling me I have 0 game time when I should have 120 days.

I just got off the phone with someone and they told me to email a picture of my receipt and of both cards. So I'm gonna do that.

That pretty much sums up the problems I'm having. daisies your crappy customer service bioware :shakefist: !

I emailed them, and they emailed me back telling me to send them the exact same stuff that I already sent...

So now I'm waiting again for a reply, and this time it better be how they fixed my daisies account.

Even despite my raging boner for Star Wars, I think I'll probably stop paying after this month expires.

Game has a decent storyline but I can not just get myself interested in the gameplay.

Especially when you can't enjoy Jedi Knight at 30 or so.

Eh, it's just the same thing I mentioned a few pages back. The quests tend to be so hard for a jedi knight around 30 until you get the healing companion.

I wish they'd ease up on the class quests at that level until you get the healing companion.

I've of course deleted my knight twice now because of dissatisfaction and I'm just going to go ahead with consular for now seeing as I just can't stick with the knight.

I just have to decide now what I should go as, shadow or sage.

People are being really dramatic about this (Though the people who honest aren't able to play I understand). Yes, the service sucks, and the bugs suck, but all in all, when it comes to the storylines and the gamneplay, its still a quality Bioware game. All the problems I've been having have already been fixed, and I'm guessing it won't be THAT long until the rest of the major kinks are worked out.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic, maybe I'm too in love with Bioware, but I love this game.

...That being said- they are better at single player games.
