I know that there are reasons why the first generation could be considered the best, but being the first is not one of them. Too many people hating change, even when it's necessary, too many people saying that "these Pokemon are retarded" even though the same could be said for the original 150+1 (personally, I think the original Pokemon Green sprites were awful in comparison to the Gold/Silver/Crystal ones and all the sprite generations afterwards). There are justifiable reasons you would think Generation 1 was the best, and the same goes for all subsequent ones.

But I did like the PLOT TWISSSSST at the end of RGBY. And the 16 gym leader thing in GSC.

On a related note, imagine what a child could do with any given Pokemon in the real world. "Growlithe, use Flamethrower!" People cower in fear.... and that is how you become the ruler of the world.
