This game will be so bad, and I will not care at all.

Re: Jurassic Park: The Game
This does look pretty bad.
I've tried most Jurassic Park games worth mentioning. Operation Genesis, the "park tycoon" type, was by far the best. The Sega game was pretty fun because it let you play as a raptor. The Playstation game was forgettable, and of course several "meh" rail shooters in Wal-mart arcades. I'll rent this one and hope for the best.

Re: Jurassic Park: The Game
It was definitely good, I just happen to find tycoon games inexplicably fascinating. I'll give props to the Sega game.

It
It doesn't even look good
normally that doesn't matter, but that's usually all licensed games have going for them.

Since this is garbled English, please refer to the brutal attack of confusion.
Re: Jurassic Park: The Game
Jurassic Park for Sega was my childhood. I loved the game, and at the same time it scared the crap out of me. The trex that poked it's giant booty head out of the wall was the worst. I would not go near that thing for a long time. I'd sit and chuck all my ammo at it until I ran out, and then I'd reset the game. When I finally got the balls to try and get past it, I fudged up and it ate me. I screamed and in a panic I shut the game off. After that, I spent the rest of my childhood afraid of large, open windows. It wasn't until I like 10 years later when I found my Sega that I finally beat the game.Exeres wrote:It was definitely good, I just happen to find tycoon games inexplicably fascinating. As for the 2011 edition, yeah it looks like crap. I've seen Gamecube games that look much better. I doubt it will sell well or get good reviews. It's a daisies shame: I love games with dinosaurs and there haven't been any good ones released since..... I can't even remember. It's not like there isn't a market for them. I feel a Jurassic Park survival shooter with sandbox elements would do quite well, if done right.
Also, believe it or not Operation Genesis still has a fairly active modding community. I've found reskins, new dinosaurs, and new missions. There's even a player made expansion that makes the dinosaurs behave more realistically, gives them genders and the ability to breed, and sets the base limits higher on just about everything (gives you all digsites, like 200 max dinosaurs, longer paths for the car ride, ect.)
edit: I FUCKING LOVE DINOSAURS AND DINOSAUR ACCESSORIES!! /caps

This is from Telltale. So I'm not entirely sure how it could be bad. At all.Exeres wrote:This game will be so bad, and I will not care at all.
Trailer is kinda iffy but I don't doubt it'll be fun.
