Re: Talking Picture Box
Finally got around to seeing the new Whose Line.
I'm surprised by how much they kept the same from the old one. I knew Wayne, Colin, and Ryan would be there, but the stage looks pretty much the same, many of the games are the same, they even kept brought back Laura Hall and Linda Taylor. It was exactly as funny as the old one too, which is to say, it was awesomely funny.

I've been enjoying Conan recently. His Clueless Gamer segments are great. He recently went back in time and played some 2600 games...
Well combined with Loeb being on the SHIELD team and his ability to keep shows going on for a long time whether people like them or not (See: Ultimate Spider-Man), it may last for a good while.Exeres wrote:I won't have any thoughts on it until I see an episode.
It's a Joss Whedon show though so the smart bet would be one great season that gets cancelled halfway through.

the next green lantern movie better be about jon
It's not even out yet, how could it retcon anything.
And also it's based on comics so retcons would be expected anyway.

besides you can't kill coulson
Do you also remember the fervent conspiracy theorizing that was going on immediately afterward? The ones where people pointed out that it was indeed very possible that he survived?

Re: Talking Picture Box
I see where you're coming from, but I have a pretty strong suspension of disbelief when it comes to movies and TV shows. If I'm told by the movie that he died, then I believe that he freaking died. The movie never evens hints that he might survive.
That's why I don't put much thought into the conspiracy theories and critics that say the Fast and Furious movies aren't physically possible. The rules were established clearly in the movie, so that's what I'm going by.
At the very least, I hope they explain HOW he survived.
At the end of the day, it's really just my own opinion on the matter, and I won't criticize anyone else for theirs. Need Runes asked what I thought and I told him.
I hope this isn't coming off as me being mad at anyone, because I'm not.

at least i hope it's simple
Okay the movie never actually states outright that he's dead. Fury says he died, but Fury has lied in the past and could certainly have been lying about Coulson's death to rally the Avengers who, at that point in the film, weren't really fighting as a team. Coulson himself said, as he lay there bleeding, "Give them something to avenge."
Oh, I forgot about this little exchange shortly after Fury shows Coulson's bloody cards to Cap and Tony:
Maria Hill: Those cards, they were in Coulson's locker, not in his jacket.
Nick Fury: They needed a push in the right direction.

Re: Talking Picture Box
Exactly. Fury's a liar; if he wasn't keeping secrets and withholding information at all times he would be the worst leader of a secret organization ever.
