Not that the discussion isn't fun, but this isn't really "recent history". Maybe we should take it to another thread? Science isn't a bad place.
Re: The Current Events Thread
Yeah, I was gonna say that it's not really current events. You're more than welcome to continue that conversation in another thread though.

I'm kinda tired of all the SOPA/PIPA debates by now, but I'm interested that Wikipedia is 'protesting' with their accessibility blackout thing.

I read that as "paid about .1% of what he's hoping to sell it for. Also this is just me but a gem that size is just a green rock. It's not shiny, not translucent, there's nothing to make it particularly beautiful because it's just too big.

Not to mention all the legit businesses and stuff that will have losts ridiculous amounts of backed up data.

IIRC, if they have a DMCA agent and they do fulfil the take-down notices that various corporations send to them, then they are protected for what the users do by the DMCA. What loophole have been found now or what judge was paid off?
Re: The Current Events Thread
I don't have a Google.com login. And if it's going to be locked behind something you need an account to see then that's not something I generally like when it comes to something like news that should be public. Found it in another place anyway.Head of The Brothel wrote:Then perhaps you should trying logging in to google.
