The Awkward Zombie's Adventure Academy (RP/adventure thread)

Coryn looked up as Eris sidled through the crowd and stamped the mission board. "Oh, hey. You're taking that mission?"

She read through the other missions on the board. When she saw the one asking the students to clear out some thugs in the city, she paused. "Oh...the city's having some problems."

Coryn had a hard time turning down people who needed help. This gang needed to be run out of town. She took a pen and scribbled her name on the signup sheet.

[Dragoon]

Daron grabbed the syrup and began drenching his pancakes as the others spoke. He took a big mouthful and a feeling of great pleasure filled his face. He said to the others, "Man, I have been craving something sweet since last night." He continued shoveling down the pancakes until they ceased to be. Then, he moved onto his sausage, eating it at a more average speed.

[Sloth]

Wyrm stumbled out of bed and walked out his room, towards the smell of pancakes.


He murmured mugh to the cafeteria worker, and waved his hands vaguely at all the food. A few minutes later he was sitting at a table with a plate full of breakfast. He wasn't paying attention to the conversations going on around him until he heard "new missions." He perked up, and looked around. Sure enough, the sign up board was visible out side of the cafeteria. He picked the plate full of food and walked towards the sign up board.

"Holy Grail? Holy fuckin' Grail?"
He started to cough on his bacon. This. This is a treasure.
He reached for the pen when he realized he couldnt keep the previous treasure. He'd have break his back for the treasure and then have to hand it back to the school. Fuck that.

Hmmm.. Spelunking? Oh. It's with Helzek. Wyrm and Helzek don't exactly see eye to eye. And by that there is absolutly no chance of looting without being expelled. And frankly, Helzek kind of freaked Wyrm out. He knows everything.

Wyrm decided to do the town mission. He hasn't been to town for a long time. Plus, if he was lucky he'd get to get some gambling in.


((Gang mission)

"Ah! That is so cool! Can you convince them to do things, and have them follow directions, or do they just sort of do their own thing once their animate?" Reina stepped closer to the pillar, to look more closely if anything had changed. Nope. It had returned perfectly, just like it looked before.

She wondered if she should show Charlie the extent of her communication with the plants. After seeing how old most of the trees around here were, and the way that some of the lower foliage whispered that she shouldn't disturb the rest of the trees, she decided against it. There would be plenty of opportunities to show him, maybe when it it was more useful.

Reina examined the soil. It didn't match the stone, so the materials must have been foreign. The soil seemed excellent for growing large-leafed plants, though. She looked through the vines and underbrush to see what she recognized, and was slightly disappointed to see that there weren't any new plants that she wouldn't easily be able to find and grow at home. Oh well.

She looked to Charlie to see whether he wanted to investigate further or call it good for the day.

"Well guys," said will while he was stuffing his face with scrambled eggs and toast, trying to forget that he just embarresed himself. "wanna team up for the next mission? Lets go check out the missions board after we're done eating."

"Huh, I almost forgot, the transplant organs and blood from St. Jude's should be here now."

[The doctor grabs a soda from his minifridge, stands up, gets his keys from his desk drawer, scribbles down a note, exits the infirmary, and tapes the note to the door. He's leaving the infirmary door unlocked, just in case somebody needs in.]

[Walcott's truck should be able to hold all of the medical supplies. It's chassis is rusty, but the engine still has plenty of life left in it. The doctor checks his trucks fuel level; half a tank left, good.]

[He ignites the engine, puts a cassette tape in the radio, and drives towards the docks.]

"It all depends on which missions there are, but sure, I'm up for a team-up," Jo answered Will.

Josephine finished her breakfast and put her plate and glass away. She came back with a water bottle, and said to the others, though most directed towards Daron, "Even though I know everyone is so eager to go see the missions board, I still have to run laps. Are you still up for it?"

"Have fun with your running, I'm going to check out the missions, and then I have to fix up ROB. Although.. I need a workshop. I guess I'll try to figure that out, too." Paku said, finishing off his crepes.

"You can use the space under the library, it's dusty down there....and there is no electricity. but it's still a cool place to hang around." Martin told Paku "But I won't head down with you. I wanna run, I usually exercised by running errands for my grandpa in the city"

Will decided that what he just said was perfect to make conversation with him. "Hey," he said, "If you ever need help picking up big objects to help repair ROB, you can call me." He then decided to show off his powers by picking up his plate twirling it around it the air and doing several other tricks with it, before somehow losing his concentration and making the plate shatter as soon as it hit the floor. "oops," he said. " I'm usually more careful than that. By the way, what's your name?"

"No electricity? No problem! I supply my own electricity. Doesn't sound like it would be very easy to get to though."

"Umm, yeah, sure, I'll come see you if I need anything like that. I'll probably only need to move things in there for the first time, and then ROB will be the heaviest thing I'll have to carry. After that it will just likely be small pieces and spare parts. I'm Paku."

Pinnah wandered into a room full of people, wondering where she was and what was going on. "Ohh, that's right...Academy...with the stuff..." She looked around sleepily, and noticed she had arrived in time for breakfast. Signaling to the cafeteria worker, she held out a tray for a small stack of flapjacks. She waddled to a table and sat down, setting her tray in front of her. "Hello and whatnot..." She yawned and brushed her bangs out of her eyes.
