Since you seem to be fairly polite about this, I won't put your comic in this thread if you don't want me to.

If there's actual critique being thrown around, I welcome it. If it's just thrown in there to be ripped apart; well, obviously I would appreciate it not happening, but I can't stop the internet , so it will happen, here or elsewhere, all I got to do is try to learn.

Thanks for the advice regarding seeking out somewhere to learn drawing. I'm entirely self-taught, so I think some professional help would definitely ... help.

Yeah, the main point was just to rip the comics to shreds in an attempt to amuse the audience. I'll leave your comic alone.

In fact, after this whole thing, I may just abandon this whole idea in general. Picking on a bunch of bad, small, webcomics is kind of douchey, now that I think about it. I mean, yeah, I did this whole thing to Tough Love, but that was okay because someone was idiotic enough to PUBLISH that stuff.

Perhaps I should think about my next project a bit more carefully.

This person has some really good tutorials for drawing characters. I find that once I have a good grasp of semi-realistic human anatomy, I can make my own, cartoony style look a lot better.

You're polite about this so I guess you deserve politeness in turn.

Your writing borrows far too much from Sitcom style humor. Comics and Television are much different mediums; jokes that work in one don't work in the other. Beyond that, your jokes have usually been done before, many, many times. This doesn't mean they are bad, a good joke can stay funny for a while. But it's still an old joke.

I dunno, I think this was a pretty good idea for a thread.

I mean, whether the comic was made yesterday or four years ago, and whether the author is a saint or a prick, a bad webcomic is a bad webcomic, and I don't see what's wrong with poking some fun at them when the author (usually) will never find out.

And even if they do, it may hurt their feelings, but it's just the truth: this is how strangers react to your work. Take that with however many grains of salt you choose.

It's up to you whether you want to continue this thread, but I for one vote you do. You may want to host the comics you find on your own uploading site instead of borrowing bandwidth, though.

Oh, I hope this doesn't mean that the thread dies. I found it great fun, because as water said, we're not exactly making fun of the person who made the comic, just the comic itself.
