You shouldn't directly look at it during a solar eclipse, anyway. It could still damage your eyes.

The 'total' in 'four total lunar eclipses' means full. 'Total eclipse' = moon covered completely, gets orange/red tint.

People across the street were freaking because it was taking place on the solstice. I asked if that meant anything. They shrugged.
