Magic: The Gathering
Re: fucking magnets: The Gathering
For my EDH I'm running Ghave, with rhys in the deck, and using the combo with Ghave, ashnods altar with doubling season for infinite tokens.

I've only seen/played the presonstructed ones so far, given the only time I played was their release

Re: Magic: The Gathering
Just had a match with my brother in which he did 43 damage total to me, and I still had 5 left at the end. I won. This was made possible by vigil for the lost, and plenty of 1/1 creatures. Was finally able to finish him off when I got the 7th land needed to summon a kembas legion.

A little more details would be helpful, if you're asking us to help decide on a theme. Are you constructing it out of cards you already own, cards you're going to "borrow" from a friend, or are you buying them? A mix of the three? Do you have any ideas so far? Have you done any research?Sloth wrote:Having trouble deciding on a theme for my Green Deck.
Or do you mean "theme" as in classifying a deck you already have?

Re: Magic: The Gathering
I have a shit ton of green cards and I've been using a rather large deck that's mostly elves and human shaman, as well as Molimo, Liege of the Tangle, Feral Hydra and Verdant Force, and a lot of relic breaker sorceries, and life gain stuff.
It is just too fucking big. can't decide if I want it to be an elf deck or a creature deck or what. Too many cool cards.

So uh, I was at Target today and the checkout line was by the cards. I decided to see how much Magic booster packs were, so that I could determine if it would be a nice diversion once I got a job.
And somehow now I have a 2012 Core Set and Mirrodin Besieged starter decks in front of me. B/B and W/G respectively.
Goddammit here we go again.

Speaking of boosterpacks, they are my preferred gift for my birthday next week. Other than Risk. I'll tell people they can buy as many booster packs as they want for me, and they'll get the biggest hugs(or high fives if one of my friends get me some), IF the booster pack(s) they bought have good cards.
Hugs are kind of a currency in my family.

I'm looking up random cards on the website help me.
Also when I get back from vacation I'll see about doing Friday Night Magic at the only store in town. But not if they charge for it.
