Because Enceladus is still in Aikonia. It's not that hard to assume he can still use magic if he isn't in Magicka with them.
Are you confusing Enceladus with Solaris? A lot of people seem to be having that problem for some odd reason.

Yes, yes I am. I must've assumed that since they were talking about how much it sucks being in Magicka, the person they then referenced was also stuck in Magicka, who would be Solaris.

It's also an honest mistake on my part, I tend to get confused/lazy by fantasy genre like names. I'm a mess when it comes to recognizing individual NPCs in games like Skyrim, or Fable.

NPC: You have to give this to Entholdir.
Me: Wat?
NPC: You have to give this scroll to Entholdir, the patron of the Guild in Qualdion.
Me: Wat?
NPC: Just go.
*I get to the guy*
Me: OH WAIT! You're the cat guy I keep stealing shit for! Now I remember...
