Worst thing that a hurricane ever did that affected me was Ivan somehow managed to get 2 inches of water in the basement.

But then we moved to KY.

In the Appalachian Mountains. Hurricanes are more, er, mild here. :V

I live in Southeastern Va, only of the few places the hurricane is projected to actually make landfall :l

Sounds like the sort of thing the weather here liked to do in the winter when it was dark and early in the morning and I had to walk to school through a muddy field :I

snow is nice
mostly if it's packing snow
if it's not it can go to hell

i hate the cold because if i pile the clothes on, i get too hot
as soon as i take one thing off, i get too cold

I love snow, but it gets very annoying when it turns to slush and ice and becomes slippery. Which always happens and it always lasts for weeks so you have to walk everywhere slowly unless you want to land flat on your arse. :I

I think they're only good for horse races, where you have no idea who's who.

Also, just so you guys know, this isn't just a thread for my storytime. Its the AZ storytime theater. If you guys ever have something you wanna poke fun at and riff, go ahead and start it. I'll edit in links to updates and such in the first post, to avoid any confusion.
