Hurrican Ivan flooded downtown (about ten minutes from my house, at the bottom of a really big hill).
BUT IT'S OKAY, IT ONLY FLOODS EVERY FIFTY YEARS
Two years later: Floods again.
Worst thing that a hurricane ever did that affected me was Ivan somehow managed to get 2 inches of water in the basement.
But then we moved to KY.
In the Appalachian Mountains. Hurricanes are more, er, mild here. :V
