I don't really enjoy a lot of the traditionally animated* Disney movies - I don't know if that's because of the whole 'fairytale' thing or the 'wholesomeness' the movies exude.

Also, the way 'beauty' is personified in those Disney films kinda turns me off.

I like a lot of the animated Dreamworks movies though, and I can't say that's because they feature incredibly deep storylines, because they don't.

*i.e. not the Pixar stuff - the majority of which is great.

I think fairy tales never appealed to me as much. I love Pixar though. I've always been a sci-fi person growing up, so that may be part of it.

Also, I had to look up what shonen meant. I DUNNO, I just saw its a cartoon with nothing but girls and I'm like man this is for girls and then I ended up loving it. SO WHO KNOWS i don't understand anime buzzwords.

I usually really don't bother with genre terms when it comes to anime or whatever. I will like what I like.

Speaking of Disney movies, who else thinks Hunchback of Notre Dame is the best?

The music, if nothing else, is magnificent.

I liked the story a lot and the setting of it.
Seeing Frolo getting such hellish lust was great as well.

Since we're on the topic on Disney movies, I watched the Emperor's New Groove a couple days ago. I forgot how good it is,

The glorious Sub Team finished Episode 1 of Wakfu S2 today.

If you want it, PM me, and for simplicities sake I'll probably put you on a mailing list to receive every episode as its released. No more individual PM stuff.

HOW COULD YOU!?

With David Spade, Eartha Kitt, John Goodman AND Patrick Warbuton, how could you forget the greatness of it?

The music, story and humor were all great, which all the voice actors pulled off.
