Anyone have any easy way to get onto a floating island? I don't particularly like the idea of swimming up a waterfall every time I want to come home.
For reference, I'm planning on building a castle on a floating island just off the shore of my original spawn. I've tried water elevators, but that just looks bad, since the rest of the island floats. I don't think I'd be able to keep up with Ender pearls either.
I also tried finding teleporter proletariats, including one that puts a TF2 teleporter in, but none of them have worked, or do what I want There was one crystal wing thing, but that only had 8 uses, and some kind of teleporter totem thing that had waystones, but that didn't actually get put into the game for some reason, despite me using Modloader. Forge just makes Minecraft blackscreen.

Now there's a use for swamps, and Slimes aren't more rare than fucking Spider Jockeys. (would you believe I've found a spider jockey 6 times in an hour, yet no slimes at all, in the same world)

Okay looks like I need help setting up a server again.

I've port forwarded, quadruple checked making sure all the information is correct. I know I'm giving the person the right port but they still can't connect. :I

Also what do you mean you gave them the right port, did you give them your ip?

What's the error, also are you able to connect yourself?

Can you screenshot your port forward page? Also are you using the right server version?

Well, the one person who actually gave me a straight answer and didn't just look at it through the server browser says they got

Can't connect! Connection timed out.

or whatever that error says. I can connect to my server.

My Default Gateway is 192.168.0.1, and my IPv4 Address is 192.168.0.150. I can't remember which one I'm supposed to use to port forward though.

ok so your start and end port should be 25565

As for the IP adress, I think it's the default gateway, but mine is setup so that it's 192.168.0.2 instead of 1, maybe try that out.

I don't think the second one needs to be filled in, but I would just put the ports as 25565 anyways.

oh, and what protocals are available, if there's a both option choose that.

There's TCP, UDP and GRE protocols.
