Yeah, we are. Also, not to be a picky bitch or anything, but it would be greatly appreciated if you posted AZ Hunger Games related things in the official thread.

EDIT: Spam just reminded me that I'm a fucking idiot for sort of encouraging torrenting, and because an internet slap machine hasn't been invented yet I'm just going to do it myself

Browsing the wiki. Interesting fact about splashes noone should care about time!
Minecraft Wiki wrote:Players are able to find the splashes.txt file in the minecraft.jar file. This file can be edited to the player's liking, listing only one splash per line. Before replacing the original splashes with user created ones, the META-INF folder needs to be deleted; otherwise the only splash that will be displayed is "missingno".

reduce the recording resolution (make the game window smaller/ click "half size")
reduce game settings

Made a Tekkit server with my brother and my friend, gotta say Tekkit is possibly more addicting than Minecraft. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get this quarry to work powering it with electric engines. Right now I have 6 hooked up to it, and they are being powered by a batbox that is being powered by nearly 10 other batboxes, which are being powered by 5 solar panels. The electric engines are hooked up to the batbox with insulated gold cable.

I turn on the engines, and the quarry doesnt even start doing anything. I figured I probably need more power than what a batbox can output, so I'm probably going to make an MFE unit once I get the diamond for it. In the meantime, I'm going to try to produce as many solar panels as possible.

Does anyone know what the minimum running requirements for a quarry are? I can't find the number anywhere online, but it says the maximum requirements to make it go at max speed are 9 electric engines.

if all you have are five solar panels, you'll need a lot more than that; it takes six solars to power a single electrical engine at full speed

But the power is coming from a fully charged batbox right next to the quarry, so it shouldn't matter how much energy is going into the batbox. I made a LV solar array and hooked it up before the batbox and it didn't work, so I might try hooking it up after the batbox. If that doesn't work, I'll try going back to only 4 engines.

Edit: Got it to start working, I guess the amount of power reaching the engines wasn't enough to power all four engines, so it didn't do anything. I de-attached all the engines but one and it started working, and then I added a steam engine too.

Edit 2: Now I can't figure out which engine is best to power the pipes bringing the macerated materials from my macerator to the chest next to it. Redstone and steam explode if they stop working, and electric just keeps wasting more electricity than I can spare when it stops. Is there any way to make an electric engine stop working if it stops having something to do? Or does it do that anyway and I'm just reacting to it filling up its internal battery while idling?

a redstone engine only explode if it's not connected to anything, or if other engines are pumping excess power into it; as long as it's connected to the wooden pipe, even with nothing in the machine to pull, it'll be fine

as for automating engine shutdown and such, buildcraft 3.X (only SSP compatible) has all sorts of logistics pipes and logic gates for automatic crafting, item sorting and routing, emergency engine shutoff, etc

Oh, ok. Thanks, the wiki for Tekkit isn't the most comprehensive thing I've seen, so it's hard to find good information.

Either you're wrong, or this function is coming later.

Surround an Eye of Ender with eight obsidian. It creates a single chest which cannot be made into a double chest, but all Ender chests synchronize.

Put a block of diamond in one, and take it back out in another.

Odd. I tried that and it didn't work. I guess it bugged out or something.

LIst from the forums:

Possible TNT traps in the world
Ender Chest (Sort of like a chest network - place two different Ender Chests and place items in either, and they will appear in any other Ender Chests you have placed. It glows a bit.)
Emerald and Emerald Ore (used with Villagers)
Made Buckets stackable.
Added Snow to Creative Inventory.
NPC Villages change style according to their biome.
Stars are more realistic.
They are now slightly smaller and slightly brighter.
Changed Gravel texture.
Improved Options menu.
Added Pyramids.
Added a second Golden Apple made with Blocks of Gold.
After being consumed, the player receives 30 second Regeneration IV, plus Resistance and Fire Resistance for 5 minutes.
Dispensers will eject Water and Lava source blocks (from buckets); Will also take water and lava source blocks if there is an empty bucket inside
