GBA has things like Golden Sun I and II + Fire Emblem games + various other RPG's.

They're still relevant.
Lots of games are relevant, yet unavailable except through pirating. Deal with it. If you want to play GBA games, go buy a used GBA.

That being said, would it be out of the question for the eShop to start selling GBA games?

No I can't. Wii doesn't like my router. Also my Wii is slowly dying, which will take everything I've already bought with it.
That's your responsibility. When my router was incompatible with my DS I changed it, and I've had a perfectly functional Wii since the launch of the system. Just because you don't take care of your stuff or run into issues doesn't mean you're entitled to stealing a product that's available on it.

Right, because things have never broken solely through use in the history of mankind. Errors have never occurred that cause flaws with no fault on the part of the owner I'm sure.

Get off your high horse. It is not so easy as "taking care of something" which I do, when it comes to malfunctions. They happen, and I don't have the budget to repair it.

Also, everything I play on an emulator I own a physical copy of. I've already paid for it, what's your business if I choose to play it on my PC when the internal battery has gone kaput/the disc can't be read/it just plain doesn't work anymore.

Good thing we have things called insurance for when the malfunction is not caused by the owner.
I don't care whose fault it was that X is broken or Y doesn't work as intended anyway, if it's yours, it's your responsibility. And perhaps you should face it instead of resorting to personal attacks to make yourself feel better. It's not like I'm telling you what to do, I'm just saying you're not entitled to emulating your games.

Do you even listen to yourself? Repeat that again and realize just how stupid it is. Even if I had sprung for the consumer deathtrap, it would have run out by now. And it still doesn't apply to any of the old games I own. Somehow I don't think insurance would cover Super Mario All Stars for the SNES because it can't retain a save anymore.

And too bad that warranties run out.

Yes, because normally after years it's not a manufacturing error that causes a device to malfunction, so there's really no reason for a company to stay accountable for whatever problem it may have.

And I'm not blaming the company. I'm saying I bought the games, so I'm going to play them as is my right as the consumer.

I don't think there's anything wrong with emulating old-gen games. Even if you buy a used one, the cheddar won't be going to the game company, it will just be going to some middle man used games store. It's illegal I guess, but no more morally corrupt than taking something from a city dump (which is still technically "stealing"). Now if we're going to talk about pirating DS/3DS games, that's a whole nother story.

And as for the manufacturer not being responsible....what about old Gold/Silver pokemon games that bodaciously cannot maintain a save file due to their internal clock running dry? Odds are Nintendo is not going to replace it for you.

Emulators for old games are fine. I think they serve a vital purpose to keep people playing good old games that would otherwise be considered inferior to today's modern standards.

There is very little regarding Zelda in this thread.

Also, CN, for some reason that post made me laugh so very very hard. Not because of the content, but the thread mismatch.

Zelda 3DS get.

OoT was the first (and last) N64 game I owned since my N64 got stolen half a year after I got it.

Can't believe it's been over a decade. Only past the first dungeon but still loving it.

The great fairy's conetits are now just regular tits. And I wanted to see them in 3D too. Now we just have regular 3D breasts.
