(Self) Portraits or GTFO

First off, yes, I realize we have a general art thread, but I think this deserves its own thread.

Secondly, considering how many creative minds we have on this forums I'm amazed a thread like this hasn't been attempted in the past (to my knowledge, I did a sloppy forum search that turned up nothing) – I for one am dying to see how you guys see yourselves and your fellow AZers. I for one am horribly out of shape when it comes to drawing (my style is wobbly and will change all the time, for better or worse) so expect nothing amazing out of me for quite a while – but that's part of the reason why I made this thread, I'm gonna do daily self-portraits from now on. If you want I could also draw some of you guys as well.

Without further blah-blah, here's my first finished self-portrait in several years, primarily a sloppy experiment with liquid ink in Painter:

Also, I'm in a shabby mood today – and it shows. Interesting.

Wouldn't this fit best in the art thread? We don't have too many people who constantly draw self portraits to warrant a thread of its own
