Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their cheddar however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government is mainly concerned with Law & Order, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 16%. A substantial private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry, followed by Basket Weaving and Book Publishing.

Crime is a problem. Billfacia's national animal is the billface, and its currency is the wyk.
