I didn't either, but those comics still make me sad.Kalekemo wrote:Well that's cause you probably didn't grow up reading the comics
Also, I have some delightful rule 34 Calvin and Hobbs I shared before in the funny pictures thread. But this is not the time or place for it.

I'm not soulless. I have plenty of souls. They're just not mine.

The last strip of Calvin and Hobbes was published on December 31, 1995.Dear Reader:
I will be stopping Calvin and Hobbes at the end of the year. This was not a recent or an easy decision, and I leave with some sadness. My interests have shifted, however, and I believe I've done what I can do within the constraints of daily deadlines and small panels. I am eager to work at a more thoughtful pace, with fewer artistic compromises. I have not yet decided on future projects, but my relationship with Universal Press Syndicate will continue.
That so many newspapers would carry Calvin and Hobbes is an honor I'll long be proud of, and I've greatly appreciated your support and indulgence over the last decade. Drawing this comic strip has been a privilege and a pleasure, and I thank you for giving me the opportunity.
Sincerely,
Bill Watterson

It's depressing in a sense
It's the last Calvin and Hobbes strip ever made by Bill Watterson

i did the posting
doesn't make it any less sad though.
also not really depressing but I thought it was a little sad anyway (and yes I'm pretty sure someone posted this in the funny pics thread a while ago but I don't really care)

I'd post more but I'm not the kind of person that keeps sad things on his computer.

Holy shit guys
I left for school like only 7 hours ago.
And you post all this ?
That's rather sad.
Anyway, not too much OC on here. There were only two things I had never seen, and that was that webcomic I didn't know and one (or maybe two ?) things from 4chan...
