Today is Australia Day. And I have no real idea of what this thing does, I am the dumb. I think it's wrong to be restricting access to things on the internet, it belongs to everyone, we're not fucking China.

Apparently they're passing a law restricting all sites with questionable content unsuitable for minors, but it's okay, because the law is a lie and only the worst of the worst will truly be blocked? But oh, they might add more sites to the blacklist as time goes on?

Australia I am disappoint.

"The Great Australian Internet Blackout" is a voluntary demonstration against proposed Australian internet censorship. It's about intentionally not using the internet during those days, among other things.

Your internet is completely unaffected.

This is what's known as an "epic fail of the highest degree"!

But on the subject of the whole Australian Internet Censorship, yes, it is completely ridiculous! Fun fact: any site that has downloadable games or sells games that would be considered 18+ are planned to be blocked. Yes, that includes blocking all of Amazon and Ebay too!
