Well, I think this match will only last about 8 episodes or so, so it shouldn't be long. I mean, except for the constant interruptions we seem to be getting!

In other news, I finally managed to circumnavigate the world! Which means all my ships are now faster... for some reason. Just... don't ask.

It also means that there's no fourth continent. At least, not where I went. Goddam!

Image
Buh... what?

WHAT?

I mean, I know my ally was infringing on his continent, but this is completely out of the blue! Heck, he hasn't even SEEN any of my units! He wouldn't even know I EXIST if it wasn't for that team recognition thing! And- and my ally? What the heck did he do to wrong him? He built one city, that wasn't even in the way of any of his property, and he gets a war on his hands!

Oh, but y'know what the worst part is?

Despite not ever having actually seen any of Team Green outside of ally-view, all of my cities are STILL going to get unhappiness from war weariness! TEAM GREEN AREN'T EVEN CAPABLE OF REACHING THIS FAR!

Image
I mean c'mon, that single city is why we're at war! I mean look at it, the ONLY square of territory it's taking away from Ethiopia is the one where all those horses are!

This is so very very stupid...

Image
But hey, Great Merchant!

Yes, Communist Russia was the first one to get a Great Merchant.

This game is ridiculously crazy!

Image
Oh....kay, that's a LOT of forces for one city!

Image
See those white dots above the flags of those two unit stacks? They represent units. Only it doesn't show above seven.

So they have a force of between 12 and 16 units trying to take on a single 3-pop city!

It's like a modern day America!

Image
Aaaand the Arabic take it first.

Wow, geez Zara! You declared war on an entire two Empires for one city... and your ally steals it from you! That's just HARSH!

Image
Heck, they still haven't even expanded to the east coast! Team Green are right bastards, aren't they?

Image
But hey, I discovered the polar north! That counts for something, right? ....right?

Image
Zara's still pouting over his ally being a jack-booty.

It also means he's not willing to negotiate a peace treaty. Despite that he already got what he wanted.

So very retarded...

Image
Versailles! This is one of the best World Wonders to have - it makes the city count as a second capital, and since city maintenance costs count as the distance between them and the capital, it means it sharply reduces such costs!

....well, that's to say it would have been a great Wonder to have except that
1: All my cities are packed close together, meaning that I hardly have to pay any maintenance costs at all.
2: The communist civic, State Property, completely removes such maintenance costs anyway!

Buut it does mean that the other two Teams can't build it for themselves. Haha!

Image
Hmm... Oh hey, Celadon City is actually the most cultural city in the world! Well I guess that counts for something, right?

Image
I don't know why my ally keeps giving me these things, I don't really have any sort of use for them...

Image
Observatories, woo! I love building these things because of their huge boost to science!

If you couldn't tell, I have a very research-focused attitude towards playing this game.

Also, I can't help but take note of how my city somehow has negative maintenance costs! What, is the city fixing itself or something?!

Image
STOP GIVING ME FREE STUFF ALREADY, I DON'T FLIPPING NEED IT!

I mean, HE'S the one with a warmongler right on his doorstep!

Speaking of which, I like the way that neither of them are actually attacking each other at this point, they're both just working up the War Weariness for no reason. Mond must be dancing at how willingly his four rivals are screwing themselves over!

Image
WHY?! Why am I constantly getting Great Merchants?!

Image
...
I have hereby detached myself from all realms of reality...

Image
Oh hey, finally, gunpowder! Now I can shoot stuff! WITH MY SWORDS!

Image
In other news, Athens is still... painfully slow at expanding.

If he wasn't allied with Mond, he'd have been wiped off the map already.

By carp.

Image
For once, a Great Merchant belonging to an Empire that generally ISN'T associated with complete state control!

And HOLY GEEBIES! Zebes is HUGE! We're only half-way through the game and it's on 21 pop!

Image
Also, looks like Miridia is really winning the culture war here. Saffron City is 1/3 in favour of changing Empire as it is! Meeeeep!

Image
...

Okay, fine, yes, give me all your stuff. And don't blame me when your Empire ends up in the crapper.

Image
C'mon, we all knew it had to be done someday!

Image
Aaaand it's already reached it's maximum environment bonuses. That's generally why you don't build island cities unless you have State Property. Or are suicidally stupid.

Err... except I don't actually HAVE State Property yet.

*cough*

Image
Incidentally, Celadon City seems to be growing at a nice pace.

Wait...
Hang on, is that the SAME Barbarian boat as the one that was there at the city's founding?
HOLY CRAP! That is just HILARIOUS! I mean, it's actually been there for YEARS, doing nothing at all!

It's like the Pacific boat in Pandemic 2!

Image
Well FINALLY, I can, at very last, research Communism! Man, and all this time I've had to stick to PRETEND communism!

Image
I finally decide to finish off that Barbarian boat surrounding Lavender Town. You shall always be remembered, mysterious boat...
*sniff*

Image
Also, I have discovered OIL!

Now if only I actually had something to do with it...

Image
Aww, they all love me!

Which is sorta surprising for Saffron City, considering how close it is to flipping over to the American empire...

Image
Woo... more great peeople...

Y'know, these guys are getting sorta boring. Can't you have, like, some sort of Awesome Person?

Like some kind of... Mecha Jesus?

Cause THAT would really liven up the game!

Image
Also, eff, Greece managed to colonise that island. I wanted to expand there!

Image
WOO, finally, State Property! NOW I am a true Communist!

FOR MOTHER KANTO!

Image
Also, free Spy! Since I have no real need for him, I just build Scotland Yard. Yawn.

Image
Y'know what's funny? That scout unit.

IT IS NEARLY 6 THOUSAND YEARS OLD!

IT IS STILL DRESSED IN RAGS!

AND IT'S STILL EXPLORING MEANINGLESSLY!

I love those guys!

Image
Picture says it all.

Image
Yes, I know there's TWO Seafoam Islands, connected by an underwater tunnel, but NYAH! It wasn't exactly a city either!

Image
Positioning is fortunate though. I mean, all it needs now is two mysteriously straight ridge of rocks between them!

Image
The Kremlin. Reduces all hurry costs by 1/3. Which is REMARKABLY useful if you're like me, and focus a lot on spending excess gold to hurry production!

Image
Aaaand another Great Prophet. Geezus, who knew Russia was so religious?

Alright, a Great Artist! He can instantly add about 4000 points of culture to a city, and that's exactly what he's gonna do now.
After this, Maridia might even be able to swallow one of Plasma's smaller cities!

Image
Or, y'know, not. I expected more. One of Plasma's cities must have a lot of culture.

Image
At least I can build a new city on top of the ruins of his failed attempt at expansion.

Image
I meet Team Green! They instantly hate me. See how he clenches his fists? That's pure hate right there.

Image
Been a while since I got some free stuff! I pick Military Tradition because it's the one that'd take longest to research.

Image
And thanks to the Taj Mahal, I get a free Golden Age!

Image
Meanwhile, my military still consists of a few archers.

Image
Meh. A Great Merchant really isn't all that useful when you're locked on a relatively small continent. I'll let him sleep for now.

Image
I got gunpowder! Doesn't let me build anything better than musketeers for now, though.

Image
Another Great Merchant. I make him join URSA because he's not good for anything else.

Image
You can't see it, but he's growling at me. I really feel like attacking him by now, but ... well, you know.

Image
After I don't do what he tells me to the first time around, he asks me to start a war on Plasma. I tell him to bugger off.

Image
WILL YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY I'M NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU OKAY

Image
I made some changes to my civics. Here's what they look like right now.

Image
I'd just like to point out that I suddenly lost lots of cheddar. That's because I upgraded a lot of my units to riflemen and the like.

Image
I also built a few of them, which means I have something resembling an army now. Time to set up base on Team Green's continent and get some troops over there.

Image
The city grows a little and I make a Great Prophet join it so it can grow even more.
Meanwhile, a few ships are constantly traveling from URSA to here and back to transport my units over the ocean.
Right now, there's only three riflemen, but there'll be more soon. I'll make Zara wish he never growled at me.

Hah.

Heheheh.

AHAHAHAHAHAH!

Image
Ah. Right. I forgot I amn't anywhere near nuke-tech yet.

Also, I just noticed: are Great Scientists related to the tech you're researching, by any chance? I'm just saying that because I got Maxwell, essentially the founder of electromagnetic theory, while I was researching Electricity. It's not correlated to the year anyway, because he wasn't born until 1831 (I always end up ahead of my time in research in this game. It's not the norm, I just put a major emphasis on it myself).

Image
Meanwhile, Mond has built up quite an admirable force on the bank of the Green Continent. THEM GREENBOYS IS GOING DOWN HARD!
...well, no, that's not nearly a big enough force to take the continent by themselves, but it is enough to secure a handicapping foothold. Mond'll need to send a constant supply of troops if he wants to take it.

Which means, in the meantime, he's going to see a large dip in production then! Woop for me!

And yes, I did send a small 3-unit force there, just to be able to keep monitoring the area and snipe the occasional city. Good thing I'm taking State Property as a main civic, or the cost of actually maintaining a city here would be HUGE!

....I think we're gonna see a sudden... change of face... for America. Heh heh heh...

Image
Aaaand here we go! Anjar, the closest settlement to the Blue Bank is the target of the first wave.
THERE IS A LARGE-SCALE FIGHT!

Image
Even I join in on the war! Man, it's times like this that make up for the massive amount of meaningless War Weariness Zara brought on me!

....why, yes, I AM trying to actually sneak-capture the city right after Mond's forces demolished it's defences! I'M STALIN, I CAN DO WHAT I WANT!

Image
HAH! There is NOTHING more entertaining than watching a trained gunman get bashed around by a guy with a mace!

Image
AWESOME, it actually worked! IN YER FACE MOND, That's what you get for not doing the sensible thing and closing your borders!

Image
I send one of my Airships up there to be able to scout around the surrounding area, so that I can still keep track of how the Great Blue Invasion is working out.

...yes, an Airship that was only able to scout out 8 squares can move thousands of miles to an entirely different continent... in one turn.

Image
Arabia actually has quite a lot of good cities here!

...wait, is that...

Image
HOLY CRAP, THEIR CAPITAL IS MECCA!
Oh man, we are gonna get a LOT of angry letters at what we're about to do here!

Image
Aaaand here's a more complete map of the area. That black space up there is JUST out of reach of my Airship. And it's the only part of my world map that's undiscovered, excluding a few parts of the polar caps.

Image
Oh hey lookie, Zara is actually willing to talk to me! Obviously he must be willing to offer peace after he's seen my massive force of three entire units!

...the fact that he's at war with the largest Empire in the world might have something to do with it.

Image
Aaaand now we're no longer at war! Woop!

Yeah, all I really wanted was that one city, so that I can keep an eye on the Blue/Green War.

Image
As soon as we make peace, he's already wanting to start a war with Mond. He's not very good at this whole 'diplomacy' thing at all!

Image
I send over a worker and settler. Since I'm at peace with everyone now, there's no punishment to trying to sneak in a Settlement in between the borderless city-conquored stage.

Image
...wow, Slateport City does NOT care for its motherland! Man, it's a good thing that you can't take back a city with culture if the city was conquered by force!

Image
Ah... right... I forgot that the Americans still can.
Yeah, 12% is hardly much of an influence, but since it's still 4 times my own influence it was easy to flip.

Image
I also finally finish enough research to reach the last of my civics! They... sure are... civiccy.

Yeah, I really don't know the point on showing you these. Unless you already play Civ4, they're not altogether interesting.

I mean, aside from that I'm a Communist Russia that supports Free Speech!

Image
I trade tech with Mond. FOR GUNS! ...err, gun tech, I mean.

Yeah, he's gonna regret that move! Cuz while he's distracted with Green, he's left his own Empire largely undefended! I figure THIS is really my big break here!

Image
COSSACKS YES!
Remember at the start of the LetsPlay? Where I said each Empire has their own more-powerful special unit? Cossacks are the Russian's unique unit, and it replaces cavalry. Which means I actually have quite a good chance over Mond's Riflemen now!

Image
Right, so here's my plan: when Mond sends his next wave of attackers against Green and stops producing them from this continent, instead of keeping them back at base, that's when I load 2/3 of my units into Galleons, send half of them up the west bank and the other half up the east. I wait until they reach the borders of Zebes and Tourian respectively (his largest cities) before declaring war. Then I rush the ships in, invade, and destroy the cities before he knows what hit him, completely crippling his production abilities! At the same time, I send the rest of my units up from the south to intercept attackers early and take the horribly-undefended cities bordering me!

Image
...orr he's going to take ages actually commencing the second attack.

Yeah, I am NOT waiting around for him to do that! By the time I do, he's likely to have researched further ahead and out-date my Cossacks, which is what I really do not want to do!

Image
And I commence production of the UN. Same as Apostolic Palace, it gives me a guaranteed chance of being eligible for General-Secretary (who gets to choose the votes), and unlike the AP, this applies to ALL Empires, not just ones with your religion!

Yes, while I am planning for war on the largest Empires in the world, I am founding the United Nations!

Image
I also make the Cristo Redentor. Which just means I don't suffer any Anarchy from civic change. Well it'll help for if I need to change between Civics during this war, which is fairly likely. Plus, culture etc.

Image
....somehow I don't think he's planning for war like I am.

Image
Soooo I decided to not wait around for Mond to attack Green, and started sending my troops in early! The way I figure is that, since Mond is sending his army as he builds them, there won't be too much back at home to get in the way.
Now, if I thought Green would launch a cross-continent counter offensive, then I definitely would've waited - Team Green actually have a MUCH larger army to make up for their technological backwardsness. But I sincerely doubt they will, considering how long they've been at war with me for.

Image
Zebes only has five units defending his capital. Those Riflemen shouldn't stand a CHANCE against my Cossacks, I've got 9 attacking that place!

Oh, and how do I know all this stuff? Yeah, remember back at the start of the game? My Scout? They're STILL alive and kicking!

Image
Oh wow, the Dutch actually managed to make the Eiffel Tower! They've been working on it for AGES, I wouldn't have thought they'd have actually been able to do it!

Image
Seriously, this? This is not what I think of when I think Imminent Invasion!

Image
And thus, it begins!

WAAAAAAAAAAGHH!

Image
OH FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK HE HAS INFANTRY UNITS NOW! DEAR GOD THIS IS WHAT I SPECIFICALLY WANTED TO AVOID!

Image
But, oh, that isn't. That's one city down anyway!

Image
And by 'down', I mean 'completely obliterated'! Yeah, it's too far into enemy lines for me to be able to realistically defend it for long. Plus, this way, I remove one of his forward bases!

Image
Team Green are still too afraid of Mond to attack back yet. C'mon, he wasn't even able to take ONE city!

Image
Well fuck, there goes the Eastward invasion! Goddamnit, I hate Infantry!

Still, the invasion on Zebes is actually going pretty we-

Image
WHAT?! WHAT THE FUCK?! HE HAS NAVY SEALS NOW! OH DEAR CHRIST I AM SO COMPLETELY SCREWED NOW FUCK!

I blame the Dutch! They're not even lifting a finger to help me!

Hey Pericles.
How about you give me all your cheddar.
Thanks bro.

Image
The Statue of Liberty does something about Specialists or something. I don't know, never paid attention to them.

Image
Anyway, back to where the action is. Or where it's going to be soon.
See? I got a lot of riflemen, some cavalry and even a few siege weapons over there. And of course I'm still sending new units over all the time.
By the way, I just noticed I never actually explained those green bars above all units. They're simply optional health bars, and I believe you all know how those work. I have them enabled, Plasma doesn't.

Image
Oh yeah. Let's do this.

Image
Honor and glory!

Image
Charge! They stand no chance!

Image
... and then Plasma steals my city. Honestly, I did all the work, and he just timed it so he finished off the very last unit and conquered the city. That's communism at work right there.

Image
But no matter! There's still a lot more cities to invade and battles to be won.
Actually, that's quite a lot of cities. With a lot of troops. Hm.

Image
Hah! Never mind, my army is obviously superior in every way!
Don't pay attention to that message about my cavalry dying against an archer. It's probably just your imagination or something.

Image
AIR STRIKES HELL YEAH
Bombarding a tile with an air ship damages every unit on that tile. Not much, but it adds up.

Image
okay what just happened
This isn't going like I hoped it would.

Image
oh god oh god oh god
this all looked so good on paper

Image
And then, just to make everything worse, Plasma makes peace with Team Green.
I started this whole daisies war just because he kept begging me.

Image
Also a Great General is born. Looking pretty butch there, Jeanne.

Image
I WON'T SURRENDER
yet.

Image
At least I might not actually lose Magmoor.

Image
I love air ships.

Image
But I don't love losing wars. So there'll be peace. For now.
He also gives me some free stuff (I forgot what) even though he was clearly winning. Those silly Greens.

Image
And then Plasma's stolen city wants to join my empire. I accept, since these people obviously are not communists.

Image
Can't have it being called Slateport, though.
Anyway, I'm still sending units over there. I plan to attack Green again soon. Only this time I'll actually bring enough troops to even stand a chance.

Image
Plasma gives me a settler for free. That's nice, only there's no place where he could possibly settle down right now. Oh well, might as well keep him.

Image
I successfully research Assembly Line and am now able to upgrade my riflemen to Infantry units for a price.
Take a last look at my obscene amounts of cheddar, 'cause they're gonna disappear soon.

Image
Looks much better already, doesn't it?
A Great Prophet joins SR388 for culture yadda yadda yadda

Image
I'd say I'll be ready to start this again in a few turns. In fact, I'm able to produce Navy SEALs now (America's special unit, replacing regular marines). Those give me a huge advantage!

Image
And then suddenly Russia's all like “AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH MOTHERLAND“

Image
... and destroys Phendrana. Dammit. Guess it's time for me to take some of his cities.

Wait... you mean you upgraded all your units on Turn 308?

So if I had invaded just 10 turns earlier, I would've decimated Zebes with ease?

OH COME ON!

You make the mistakes, and I've got tanks.

Haha.

What I like to do before a war is take all my older civ units and place them at my frontal bases, then declare war so they can't see the back.

When they get close to the city, SUDDENLY TANKS AND MARINES

Aaand there goes my cannon, the last unit in my Western assault force.

Now I am screwed!

Image
I get a Great General (who can join a unit to give it extra power, as well as giving out 20 experience shared across all units in the square), but he is so horribly late for the party!

Image
I am, however, now able to make machinegun units! And just in time too, Mond looks like he's gonna launch a counter-attack!

Oh right, Machineguns? They are BRILLIANT at city defense! I mean, even against the Navy SEALS, it's still gonna take about two units to take down one Machinegunner! And since the game automatically chooses the healthiest defender in the square to defend, it means that for each wave of enemies I survive against I get to heal them back to full HP!

Image
Oh...kay, maybe it WAS too late.

Bah, Lavender Town wasn't really productive anyway, it was in a lousy location.

Image
Meanwhile, I send a lone Grenadier and Galleon over to the Orange Continent. So that if Mond does take my cities, I still have units abroad, and therefore don't lose the game outright (I set "Complete Kills" mode on, meaning that an Empire is only defeated once he loses his last unit as opposed to just his last city.

Image
Mond sends his first wave of attackers, consisting of Infantry and SEALS. And I've got squat-all defences up!

Let's see if I can even last the turn.

Image
Oooh, yes I can! By just one unit at 4% health left! Talk about close!

Unfortunately I'm still screwed next turn.

Image
I also make an Ironclad vessel to deal with the enemy naval units that're bombarding my cities defences.

Image
In the midst of getting invaded, we still seem to feel the need to vote for a Secretary-General. Since Team Green isn't eligible for the position, it's just us two. And I vote for Mond because, bah, there's no way my team has nearly enough population to out-vote them!

Image
Well there goes Saffron City anyway. Ah, good times.

Although it is somewhat anti-climactic that after all those years of culture-conflict between it and Miridia, it just ends with a hostile take-over.

Image
I completely abandon Celadon City to Mond's advancing forces and move my units into Fuschia City. Simply because I know well that I still haven't built up enough of a defence force to be able to hold it, so keeping units there is just going to result in him squashing them!

And, embarrassingly enough, it's only NOW that I actually realise just what it means to Hurry Production! Which is to say, you get to build units INSTANTLY if you have enough Gold! Ugh, that would've been REALLY useful if I had realised that before!

Image
And only now do I get the Police State civic, which is the one typically used for when you're at war. 'Bout daisies time!

Image
...

Aaaand I instantly regret converting to it.
Why? Because now I can't Hurry units anymore, since it replaces Universal Suffrage! And because I'm getting such a mass profit in gold, it'd be far faster to Hurry production than the increased speed in military production that Police State gives!

Image
I give Zara pretty much ALL of my tech for free now! Why? Because me and the Dutch are so horribly screwed at this point that my best hopes lie with Team Green!

Image
Somehow, despite being on a remote island far away from the mainland, Taoism still manages to spread to Cinnabar Island.

Image
Aaand there goes Celadon City.

At this point, not counting the island settlements, I only have two cities left.

Image
But hey, free General! And hey, it's Ivan the Terrible!

No, not THAT Ivan the Terrible! God, it sure would be screwed up to have the Tsar of Russia working as my minion! This one was a SS guard in the Treblinka extermination camp, who was accused of several war crimes.

Yes, I have the Nazis working for me now!

Image
I incorporate him into one of my Machinegun units. FREE EXP FOR ALL!

Oh yeah, see that big list there? That's how many Machineguns I have in Fushcia City alone!

Yes, I have a LOT of defenses now!

Image
And oh hey, just in time, it seems. As the Greek forces have now arrived to join in the fight!

And unlike Mond, the Greeks are a LOT more ruthless and unforgiving! Whereas Mond will go straight for your weaker cities and leave the workers and stray units alone, Perciles prefer to destroy EVERYTHING in their path, whether it's infantry, workers, or farms!

Image
I send Ivan down to Cerulean to help defend against the weaker units Mond's sending to Cerulean city.

He is successful!

Image
While that's going on, the Greeks are about to invade now, and have started bombarding the city defences with cannons.

As well as that, they also assassinated my governor (which means I have one turn of Anarchy there)

Shit.

Image
Aaand I send all my Cerulean City defenders up to Fuschia City, because Mond just got his act back together and have sent in the big forces! I ain't sticking around for the firework display.

Image
Seriously, LOOK at that unit line-up! I wouldn't have lasted 5 seconds against a force like that if I kept my Machineguns where they were!

Image
Now Mond has control of the UN. And, y'know, the entire city.

Fuschia City is my last hope now. Since the islands are still shot for productivity!

In hindsight I really should've rushed the production of those island buildings...

Image
Oh, gee. It's only when I'm down to one major city that Zara actually starts being respectful of me!

Image
Aaand they've started their invasion now! ....for some reason, they seem to think sending horses up against Machineguns is a smart move.

They also seem to think that invading from across the river is a good idea. To point out, attacking across a river gives the defender an extra bonus against them!
Oh that Perciles!

Image
Okay, I know that the SAM guns are meant to be anti-aircraft weapons, but I still can't help but laugh at how they're using little uzis to take down machinegun placements instead of the giant gun on their backs!

See that list of 15 units on the side there? That's the rundown of all the units the Greek have in that single square... after their first turn of attacking! Now account of all the units he lost, as well as those 7 units coming from behind, and that's how big of a force I have to deal with here!

...although then again, quite a number of them aren't suited for this combat, like SAM infantry and cavalry, and... wait, did he seriously send a Horse Archer?! UGH!

Image
Aw man, the SAM dudes managed to take down BOTH my Airships! And I had them for so long too...

Image
The Greeks get back to their horrible attempt at trying to kill my guys. But NOBODY DEFEATS IVAN!

Image
Ivan can take multiple artillery blasts to the head... AND STILL KICK YOUR booty!

Image
I'd like to know why he brought Anti-Tank units along though. I mean, that's not the first thought I have when I think "Apparently they're building nothing but Machineguns!"

Perciles is so god damned retarded...

Image
Unfortunately, because of the whole Gettting My booty Kicked thing, my score is... umm... actually surprisingly constant. I mean, you'd imagine that when you're down to just one major city your score would plummet...

Image
Seriously, how does that keep happening?

Image
Wait... "The world considers you a villain"? OH COME ON, the Blue Team comes in, conquors my cities, destroys my towns, while I'm doing nothing but defending, and... apparently I'm the bad guy in this?!

God daisies you American propaganda!

Image
Okay, dude, I know you like sharing and all, but I'm sorta in the middle of a massive invasion here.

Image
Err... oh, umm, apparently I'm not anymore! Yeah, I actually managed to wipe out the entire Greek invasion force!

...except for that one guy by the uranium supply. What the heck is he even doing there?!

Image
Dude, I told you, I don't want your bloody stuff!

Image
Okay, NOW I've defeated the Greek force!

Ivan is the kick-assiest of generals ever!

Image
OKAY, FINE, I'LL TAKE YOUR BLOODY MOVIES ALREADY! GEEZ!

And Plasma's first city is destroyed! Which wasn't all that hard, considering he didn't have a single unit there. I hope the rest of his cities will at least put up a bit of a challenge.

Image
I honestly have no idea why I'm still producing cavalry when I have Navy SEALs. Oh well.

Image
Feels good to finally have a functional army. I only wish they were a little faster.

Image
This is bullshit.

Image
At least all of his units in Saffron City are near death now.

Image
They still survive this turn, but only because most of my forces haven't arrived yet.
I need airports.

Image
Some of his units have a special ability that heals them and every unit on their tile a little each turn. Well, that's what I have airships for.

Image
That was pretty easy. I keep this city and won't raze any others either. I don't even really know why I did that earlier.

Image
Yeah I'm kinda cheating with the name shut up.

Image
And there goes another city. Guess I'll be done here in no time.

Image
Hate machine guns hate hate hate them.

Image
Sweet revenge.

Image
... holy shit. bodaciously a dozen machine guns, one of which is a Great General. That will take a while.
I shouldn't have wished for a challenge earlier.

Image
Chozo City's borders expanded, and it's still right next to red territory. Fuchsia has a frightening amount of culture.

Image
This may look like I sent too many units, but I doubt even this amount could conquer Fuchsia at this point.

Image
Although he might as well keep that one as far as I'm concerned. He's still down to one city! Not counting his two islands, of course.

Image
Now what am I gonna do with those guys. They're not enough for Fuchsia, but that's pretty much all that's left.
Guess I'll have to start attacking the Dutch soon.

Image
The only thing my daisies ally is good for is giving me all his cheddar.

Image
I'm sending this ship over to Plasma's islands to see how many units he's got over there. I'll leave Fuchsia alone for now, but I want to invade those two at least.

Image
By now he has too many machine guns to display them all on screen.
But I doubt he's got more cheddar than me. I mean, holy shit, where does all this even come from.
Oh, right, yeah. Pericles.

Image
Hell yeah! The Apollo Program is the foundation for a Space Race Victory, and three cities with legendary culture are needed for a Cultural Victory. I may just go for one of those.

Image
For now I'll just have all the units defending my new cities.
It's not like Plasma could actually win them back: Machine guns can't attack, only defend. But there's nothing else I could do with them right now.

Image
... yeah, Fuchsia's got a lot of culture. If I don't pay attention, Plasma might actually build one or two cities inside his own cultural borders.

Image
Anyway, back to his islands. I already checked Cinnabar Island, and it's completely defenseless. I guess Seafoam will be the same.
Oh Plasma.

"To continue war, three thing are needed: cheddar, cheddar and yet more cheddar.
