I dunno, it's probably just my laptop. I'll try again later on my not sucky computer and get back to you on my opinion.
I got the same message - anyone know how to get past this?

You idiots! It's obviously from one of those Legend of Zelda clones!
They always have such girly elf characters!

I'm pretty sure that's a graphics card related problem. Do the usual driver updating and settings fiddling.

I was hoping that wouldn't be the answer :(. I'm useless with that, looks like I'll need to miss out on this. Looked fun too.

Err... sorry, but if there's a problem with your graphics card drivers or settings, then you should SERIOUSLY do something about that! NOW! I mean, presuming you actually want to run graphics-based programs made since whenever you last updated them.

um yeah but if this is only to do with games then I'm not really bothered - I don't have any games for the PC except from Sims 2 and that stopped working ages ago because of the graphics card. I can still play flash games and stuff - thanks for telling me what was wrong though haha.

Alright, you got me convinced.

He's using the World of Minecraft Custom Client that gives you the ability to fly and noclip. Download it, it really helps. You'll just have to register at WoM first, but it's completely free.

I'm surprised nobody built a free-floating moon yet, like maybe the one from LoZ: MM or maybe a Death Star or something.

How do you do those big floating ones? I think it's like you delete the cubes underneath them - but that means you need to build loads of cubes to get up there to delete them so in the end it'd just take ages.

I think I have an obsession with floating islands.

That, and SKY CASTLES!

Image

Long story short: because everyone was building on the ground in the vertical map server (it's a new server, y'see), I decided I may as well kick-start actually using the map properly by building something in the air. And since I haven't tried making a castle before, I decided to build one in the sky!

Again, the castle has a complete interior as well as a large... err... "basement". The room pic was to show what a standard bedroom looks like. And the last pic is the back of the castle island.

It also got me promoted in the WoM group from a Member to a Builder! Woop!

Once again: there's a special client you can download after joining the WoM group that allows you to fly. As well as no-clip and speed up.
