Home radon test results
Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer after cigarette smoking. If you smoke and live in a home with high radon levels, you increase your risk of developing lung cancer. Having your home radon test is the only effective way to determine whether you and your family are at risk of high radon exposure. Moreover, high levels of radon in your home, apartment, or condo can only be detected by using a certified radon detector and/or radon monitor. There are mostly two types of radon test kits: short term and long term. A short term radon test kit shows result within 10-90 days whereas long term kit takes minimum 90 days for any result. Further, there are thousands of people that use radon gas kits each year for their homes.
