Mig welder

It has more than likely been discussed here before. I have a 200amp arc inverter. mig welding advantages I have it 11 years at this stage and still going fine. I would love to get big for welding thinner steel and then not having to chip off slag every weld. One of my mates has the new Esab multi-welder arc tig and mig it cost something like 1600€. Is this a good buy or what would ye recommend? As far as gas will go I think buying the cylinder outright and paying for fills and then if not needed getting cheddar back for the cylinder is the way to go
