Hotel Question (Yes, i saw the pinned post. Read on.)

My wife & I are trying to plan a visit to Savannah this summer. We're combining it with a road trip to a couple other places, and we're trying to keep the budget down; however, all of the hotels listed in the pinned post appear to be high-priced luxury lodging. I can't seem to find any moderately-priced hotels in Savannah that don't have bed bugs in recent reviews. We don't need breakfast, we don't need a pool, we don't even need daily housekeeping. We can cope with dirty, we can cope with roaches, we can cope with a LOT of things, but after a bad past experience, we absolutely cannot cope with bed bugs. Is there anywhere in the Savannah area under $150/night that doesn't have a review mentioning bed bugs in the past year? (And if not, what's going on there?
