Magikarp would be used in games for kids, maybe small competitions, probably the equivalent of throwing cow turds.

Pokemon are extremely intelligent; if they didn't want to be controlled by people, I think they would have done something. Activists can't help those that don't want it.

considering how smart and powerful pokemon are i wouldn't be surprised if they became the dominant species and killed us all/made us slaves.
