I like to build houses, so I have a bunch of city sets. Most of what I have from when I was younger is pirate or castle oriented, with a few space sets mixed in. My parents bought legos for the boys, but I played with them more than anyone and now I have them all. :D

I want the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower.

This thread is going to make me bust out my legos again and make a huge mess, isn't it?

FUCK YEAH LEGOS

I once built a little motorized machine that dealt cards. It had the deck in at an angle, with the top card feeding into rollers. It had this semicircle of light sensors around the outside, so if you held up a black square of construction paper or something, it would rotate on its base and deal you a card. It rocked.

I also built an 8-speed motor by creating a totally random and huge gear train. on the highest speed the gears could shred notebook paper; I tried hooking it up to a trebuchet (apparently trebuchet isn't a word, according to Firefox's spellcheck...), but the trebuchet went FLYING across the room and broke into pieces when it hit the wall. the engine stayed relatively put, but fell off the table and a couple of the motors in it broke :/

...now I need to go see if I have any legos left and like go to town
That's me. I transcend.

Right now I'm in the middle of building a Lego Browning Automatic Rifle. It still has a TON of tweaking to do, but here's what I have so far.

I never had the patience for lego.

This is why I'm not an artiste.

That and zero creativity.
that's not what your mother said last night.

Oh man this thread reminds me of the time I built this foot-long lego battleship.

It was freaking massive.

Here it is.

Oh snap, there's more

Last one.

Something of note in the second picture: Even though there is a massive Lego structure, there are still TWO (visible) DRAWERS full of legos. I have like 10,000 or more of them.
