Oh yeah, and protip: don't do Arts as a major in university! I mean the literature and journalism kind, not art and music, as those are actually useful.
Arts is the subject that people only take if they're completely unsure of what they want to do with their life. As a result, there is a huge over-pollination of people who majored in arts trying to get a career in a field that didn't have many professional job positions open in the first place. The only major benefit is for, if you find yourself in a different career choice later on (which, might I remind, is very likely since most Arts majors were undecided at the time), you can say that you had a college education. Presuming, of course, that you do actually finish the course; unlike ones like Engineering or Science, Arts is one that gives you heaps of assignments to do, and is a much harder course than most people think.

Same here.Creeper wrote:I don't play sports and I have no friends at my school. I guess it just depends how involved you get.meyou22 wrote:I'm in High School, and I've missed being a part of sports teams, dances, and having friends who I can have lunch with.
Instead, I'm sitting at a desk with a nutridrink for lunch, doing math. DX not as fun as you may think.
I stopped taking languages since latin 2 ended since the latin teacher retired. It was more about mythology than the actual language anyway. One of my favorite classes.
Oh and I should probably not be on here since I have algebra and chemistry homework right now. I always tend to do that.

Respect. We should jam sometime.Trennicus wrote:Music.Avengifier wrote:What's your major, Trennicus?
Somehow.
Yeah, I started school today. I love this school. I'm gonna learn a ton of music, the teachers are really chill, the other students are awesome (and there are only about thirty or forty in the music program so everyone will be really close by the end of the year), and I'm going to learn a ton of music.

Senior year in High School this year. But my school year doesn't start until Sept. 1st I think.
I have no idea what college or university I want to go to. All I know is that I want to major somewhere in Animation at least. I'll possibly do a major in fine arts too but mainly because my dad wants me to.

Yes, it is. There's no reason anybody should take it unless they think cooking is an academic skill (IT'S NOT).The Big Cheese wrote:I'm going to assume that's a "Home Ec" course. I could be wrong, but not ever school has the same name for classes.infinity wrote:if u can take family studies 12 its sooooo easy!!!!!!
Anyways, I'm looking forward to grade 10. Grade 9 has so many basic courses, like math, science, english, etc., and you can only choose two electives. Now that I'll be in grade 10, I can finally choose more specific courses, which will definitely make school more enjoyable.
You are now manually breathing.
