Ok, kind of a dumb topic, but here I go!

I found out about deviantart like around a week ago, and half of the girls there are reallly into videogaming, like not just the crazy culture attached to it, but the real gameplay mechanics, and ingame-lore that I KNOW you'd have to check online or somewhere else to know.

SHIT?

When did this happen? Seriously? I didn't even know people like this existed a week prior. I don't mean to sound mysognistic (spelling?) but, all the girls around here (Canada, BC) are firmly grounded in their gender expectations. Boooooooorrrrrrrrinnnnnnnngggg.

And i'm already 20! Did these people pop up overnight?

Was there some summit last month where 70% of the female population decided Brawl was fun? WAS I NOT INVITED? I have a largely girlish bodyframe...

And I mean even really, really cryptic games, like Homeworld! Everybody should play that game!

I don't know. I DID know that some girls liked The Legend of Zelda... that's a game that isn't really aimed at a particular demographic, and Link is... well... He's not Marcus Fenix.

Bleh i'm a wretch. I suppose I should escape from under this rock. Berate as necessary.
