Exactly. During the first few trailers of Twilight Princess, Midna was just a giant arm on Wolf Link's back. Now look what happened.Airigh wrote:Maybe it can and the teaser didn't show it!Alex wrote:That's the problem, it can't talk.Airigh wrote:I still don't see anything wrong with the train.
IT'S JUST A TRAIN.
Seriously though, this game looks promising.

Maybe it's not a train.
Maybe it's a cardboard box.

Maybe it can do whatever you want it to do.
Choo.

A steam train made of wood!
Gaah!
WAT.
Splinters ahoy!
It's not that...a wooden steam train would burn up...Airigh wrote:...Plasma wrote:Y'know, I find it very odd that there's been several debates as to how odd a steam train is in the game, in both historical context and gameplay context. Also, Link has a mechanical wooden wind thing...
It's shaped like a gun but with a leaf for blades...
I guess it's not much different than the seed shooter, that really did look like a gun.

You're forgetting that Zelda > logic.epona4 wrote:It's not that...a wooden steam train would burn up...Airigh wrote:...Plasma wrote:Y'know, I find it very odd that there's been several debates as to how odd a steam train is in the game, in both historical context and gameplay context. OBVIOUSLY they did the same thing to the train that they did to the Goron tunic.
Or maybe they only built the body of the train out of wood and the furnace and engine bits out of metal.
Also, I think we've all been looking at this the wrong way. Train, gun for a weapon, cows... This isn't steampunk Zelda, this is Western Zelda!
There absolutely needs to be a train hijacking attempt by Ganon's minions here. Absolutely.
They used magic. Duh.Anonymouse wrote:You're forgetting that Zelda > logic.epona4 wrote:It's not that...a wooden steam train would burn up...Airigh wrote: ...

Same here. It just need not be compared to something as retarded as Thomas...why do I remember this name???Airigh wrote:I am pop flyin' with the train.Trennicus wrote:Jesus, why.
Why is everyone comparing the Train to Thomas the Tank engine...
WHY CAN'T WE JUST BE pop flyin' WITH THE GOD daisies TRAIN!?
