Re: Art Thread
You might want to work on the eyes, I can only speak for myself, but I prefer to look on pictures of people who dont look like therye haunting the image from beyond the grave. Also, that leaf picture looks good. Like a book illustration of a post card.
Re: Art Thread
I think her eyes are all right?
I just noticed something about the girl's hair on the second one. The way it spreads on her back seems weird to me. It should either continue straight down or deposit itself on her shoulders, not change direction around her neck.
Also her mouth is amazing.

Re: Art Thread
Oh wow. It's a tempting offer, but I don't know if I would be able to fit that in with my classes, too. I guess it depends on if the authors are looking for someone to take a PAID illustrator position.

Re: Art Thread
I was looking through some older OC files and I found this crappy Fakemon I drew months ago after a lisping character in an RP pronounced another char's name wrong. I have no idea how to Cockfighting Society.
I really need to dig up my imgur password so I can quit linking to dA.

Re: Art Thread
I decided to learn how to use Inkscape. I remade an old doodle I posted here last year just to learn the basics. It was surprisingly not that complicated once I stopped using layers the way I use them in Gimp.
I hope it is displayed correctly. Versions of IE prior to 9 don't support SVGs, and IE9 doesn't fully support them.
Old (raster) vs New (vector)

You might have to zoom in to see the difference.
edit: whoops, some shadows were not displayed. I should be fixed now.

Some dumb underwater vampire pictures.

It looks good to me. I'd try to help, but I am incredibly awful at drawing women. They look like men with breasts.Wiffle wrote:Any opinions on the drawing? Something I can perhaps work on?

Testing out the new mic and my lower range.
Re: Art Thread
I think her torso is not wide enough. The part of her right arm between her shoulder and her elbow looks too short (unless it's because of the angle). Her left tigh looks too wide (compared to her right one, at least).Wiffle wrote:Any opinions on the drawing? Something I can perhaps work on?
