(I wouldn't feel comfortable taking thee reins of a character just yet. Need to make a test run.)
Adviser character with V in his name: "And whatever has she supposedly done this time that you are attempting to fire her for, your majesty? I'm sure it was nothing to fully constitute your reaction."

VonBrandt: Excuse Ivy from throne room then give detailed report on the part of "The Plan" you were assigned to

So a giant asshole?Marcato wrote:(He'll pretty much be like Cranzibald is for Emilia.)
No wait, he's an even bigger asshole in Cranzibald's eyes for being a dirty magician.
I like him already.

Ahaha, this is seriously great so far. I love how neither princess has any perspective at all.

(Gonna be making less frequent updates for the next couple weeks because of finals. I'm sure I'll still find the time to update, but I can't commit to daily updates right now.)
Re: Princess Quest: Beware of Fake Marcatos
You stood there with a smug air about yourself, or at least that's how she would describe it, as Princess Acacia huffed and pouted. Wow, such rage and fury radiated off of her face, but you have seen far worse from her on a few occasions. This one time, she gave you a look that internally had you blubbering like a child, but the details of why she gave you that look are unimportant and would get your head immediately cut off after being flayed and burnt should you reveal them to anyone. Speaking of punishments...
You catch Ivy slinking away from you two, and say to her with a tone of authority, "Servant Truman, the windows of the entire left wing need to be dusted and polished. Surely you can handle that at least? I want them to where you would never know there were windows unless you hadn't spent all day cleaning them. If you cannot accomplish this, you will go without dinner." She may be a family friend, but the princess looked as if she was on a warpath, which might turn into a literal warpath if you don't take measures to quell her anger.
You can feel the princess glaring daggers at both you and at Ivy as she meekly escaped the throne room. She may be going cross-eyed, which is something you do not want to have to deal with. She will get all self-conscious about it, then the next thing you know she'll ask you which glass eye looks the best out of the catalog, and should she get the one with emeralds embedded in the iris? Well, whatever the case, the punishment had calmed the princess down somewhat. You turn to face the woman who could have you killed in 5 different ways all at once for impudence were you not so valuable to her and the kingdom, and ask her, "What ails you today that you would be in such a foul mood? You know as well as I do that while Ivy may not be the best or even the 52nd best maid, she still tries as hard as the best maid. The only reason I could think of that you would fire her is that you are angry about some matter. What's your deal?"
When you see her start to get madder the more you talk, you realize that the princess expects something out of you. Your face tells no secrets as you scramble your mind to think of something. Hmm, what would she want from you? You freely give her your advice on all matters whether she wants you to or not, so it can't be counsel. What does an adviser give to his ruler besides advice? Loyalty and servitude (when it's convenient). So she must expect that you have to have something she expects you to have besides something that you have already given her. And if you don't know what that is, and she does, and she expects you to know about it, then what you're missing is knowledge of the thing you're supposed to have but are lacking! Oh forget this, you're just thinking in circles now, if only you had some Minor Telepathy spell reagents handy! So, after sighing, you ask her, "What is it? What do you want, Princess Acacia?"

I wonder where the grease trap is on a star...
(Some men just can't handle the triple steak. You can't fly too close to the sun, or you'll get fried in the grease.)

It probably didn't help, though
I was actually sick before I ate that thing.
