I'm only an hour in but I'll make a list once I've played a bit more of it.

The story in Radiant Historia is really kicking up the pace near the end of AH CH 2.

I disagree with that title wholeheartedly. I would not say no to another try at a Sonic RPG, though.

Unfortunately, keegster, the quality of a game is mostly subjective. I thought it was awful, with some good ideas here and there.

Sonic Chronicles had terrible characterization, bad ideas, horrible animation, and was badly put together.

Not to mention the fact that they used the Archie Comics as an idea of what the Sonic universe was like, and then very badly kinda tried to mash it together with the main series. This resulted in horribly out of character moments, like when Sonic and Co. just willingly leave Eggman to his death, and then feel absolutely nothing afterwards.

There was also the horrible music, which was bodaciously ripped from the internet, the game stops really knowing what it's doing after the middle, the character models looked awful, the final boss was a fucking QTE, and the art just didn't look right.

There is no part of that game I want to ever see again, and it sure as shit doesn't deserve a sequel.

This is coming from me. I am probably the hardest, most solid Sonic fan here. This is not a good game by any means.

Hail, fellow hardcore Sonic fan!

I remember how goddamn excited I was when Chronicles came out. I thought, "WHOA OMG SONIC RPG BEST GAME EVER ASLFJAKGANSLKJDGN"
Two hours into playing it:
"...chapter 4... is this when the story starts?"

The final boss of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time was also just QTEs, Galaxy. It was also the ONLY enemy or boss to show it's health bar.

(Besides, I'm also a big Sonic fan.)

It wasn't so much QTE's as it was timed button presses which make up approximately 90% of the battles in the Mario & Luigi series. The only difference with the final battle in Partners in Time is that you couldn't attack/heal/use items, only counterattack.

The only good thing about the battles in Chronicles were the awesome Elite Beat Agents-styled supers.
