Also for half a second there before I saw the next panel, I thought that Sette was actually going to eat her finger.

It's really enjoyable and refreshing to see Sette being diplomatic for once and using actual logic.

I wonder if Duane is actually shocked at the amount or if he's just playing along to serve Sette's speech.

Also, I did some VERY loose math (wherein I had to assume a rough estimate of a prostitute's wage), but it sounds to me like Stockyard owes Sette's Da nearly a million dollars.

That pymary scared Duane so hard that he went back to his original grey face. Thank goodness he didn't lose his composure completely and go back to zombie face.
