Preordered Finntroll's upcoming album's limited edition because I had store credit. Can't wait.

I am intrigued by David Draiman's new project, Device. The single "Vilify" is heavy and industrial but not so noisy and cluttered that it ruins the music.

Briefly entertain the notion that other people enjoy music that you might not.

There was a rumor a lil' while back that Them Crooked Vultures were coming out with a new album. Dave Grohl recently confirmed that the Foos were back working on a new album too. So, one way or another I'm hyped. It's gonna be daisies near impossible to top Wasting Light, but ho chizz, with Pat Smear back they might just do it.

Whalecore is a term used to describe bands or albums that incorporate aquatic imagery in their lyrics and artwork. Mastodon originally coined the term whalecore when they produced their album Leviathan in 2004. Other bands such as Children of Bodom and Dethklok quickly adopted the genre as their own, with their most recent releases being recognized as whalecore by their supporters and fans, as well as the media.

Someone leaked a new song from Alice in Chains' new album. On par with the ones that have been released so far.
I'm gonna get sick of listening to these songs before I even get a chance to buy the album.
