I like Rock from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, myself.

I've been getting more into classic rock lately. Jimi Hendrix, PANK Floyd, Led Zeppelin.
I'm trying to listen to more of the good stuff from past decades, especially since I've started going to a vinyl club.

Wait, vinyl club? I thought that was an urban legend, like the third rail, or the sewer alligators

I think you're underestimating creaky's hipster level.

I mean look at what they have for Neutral Milk Hotel:
that ain't what they were
and Imagine Dragons ain't indie rock/alternative rock, they're rockpop
so yeah

Arguing genre labels is pure pedantry anyway. But if you're going to try to define what is or isn't indie or alternative then that is just a special level of "it's an opinion why are we arguing".

But genre can be debated
whether or not music is good or not is opinion yeah but you can't call Simon and Garfunkel metal

Is that...
Is that really the degree to which this band is separated from indie rock? I mean, I don't even listen to it so it's not like I'm trying to argue one way or another, but is that really the most accurate analogy you can make about it?
