No, but it was still rather extreme. I still say Aang would be ashamed.

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
doubt he'd be ashamed, especially since she didn't actually hurt the guy. from what I remember he didn't tend to confront problems directly in general because of being brought up as an airbender
not entirely sure why he'd be ashamed of someone using different methods than he did??

Re: The Legend of Korra, because it deserves its own thread
Why would she even care if Aang was ashamed anyway? When Aang was dealing with the Firelord in his Avatar state every single Avatar was trying to deal a deathblow. The only reason they didn't is because Aang took control. I think they'd be applauding Korra.
Stuff goes here later.

Aang was an Avatar, not the Avatar. I still hold that he wouldn't have any qualms with a threat if it could save a life in the future. Korra put a guy in the mouth of a trained animal to save others. He's fine.

But having a hate group thhat violently forces everyone to conform to their social standards is totally age appropriate?Dedivax wrote:Do you seriously expect something like that to happen in a show like Avatar? It might be aimed at everyone but they can't show something as violent as that, they need to keep it suitable for kids. Also I personally think that it wouldn't add anything other than pointless senseless violence to the show.

What kind of delay is there between when Korra airs on TV and then on the internet?

God I hope Bolin gets to be a movie star. Er, mover star. Sorry.
Also, thank god they got the Makorra shit out of the way fast. Granted, there will probably be trails of angst and sexual tension now, but no more "No you hang up first...no you hang up first...no you--STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON GAWD"

I wonder what she would do to ensure that her company didn't go under. Would she burn a building?

How appropriate if the Face Stealer met his demise at the hands of the Avatar in Water Tribe form.

Man, I've been waiting for Koh to show up again too, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it to happen this season. Mike and Brian have probably forgotten about the "we'll meet again" bit that Koh told Aang.
