This one is just too weird.

You know the sad part is? I actually had to get a drink the moment I saw "It's that time again!"

Because I can't seem to enjoy this comic sober.

Actually that looks like a pretty nice dog in the photo in that last panel... but, as usual, Chris-Chan ruins it with his Aura of Faggotry

She was, of course, Chris's dog. And possibly the only being in the world Chris actually ever cared about.

She's the only formerly-living creature to get a proper memorial in the comics. Chris actually broke down in tears a year after her death. This may seem normal but Chris never does this for anyone else. When PandaHalo "died", he moved on within twelve hours and never spoke of it again. When Ivy "killed herself" he made a music video...about how he was in the market for a girlfriend again.

It's also something of a joke to suggest digging up Patti as a last-ditch trolling method. Of course, when Chris tried to "infiltrate" the "inner circle", this was one of the fake plans he saw.

Hilarity ensued.

What bothers me is that Chris had plenty of deterrents grounded in reality, like:

"What if Bob owns a gun and Chris doesn't know about it?"
"What if someone else in the neighborhood owns a gun and mistakes us for someone robbing them?"
"Guys doesn't Chris watch this forum he could have the cops waiting for us"
"Guys I think this could actually be illegal"

But no. He went with:

"DON'T COME TO MY HOUSE THERE'S GHOSTS!"

I've had dogs. I've dealt with their death. The loss of a friend that close is devastating.

But I've never personified them as anthropomorphic canine-people and fell in love with them.
