Sorry, I just face-desked.
Why does EVERYONE jump to the conclusion that something cartoon-turned-live-action/cgi will be bad? Nick usually does pretty good with their made for TV flicks, so I'm not expecting a complete train wreck. And with it being FOP, one of Nick's most popular cartoons, I'm sure they did their best not to fuck it up for the fans.
Here's the trailer

I don't care how good that movie is, you're going to have a hard time convincing me it wouldn't be better in cartoon-style.

*Fart jokes that wasn't even that funny*
*falls in love after tootie becomes super hawt*
Maybe it won't be a train wreck per se, but it certainly isn't going to be movie theater worthy.
I'm a bit surprised/disappointed that they didn't get real life actors for the fairies. Didn't they show actors being dressed as them once?

In one part, Cosmo and Wanda disguise themselves in human form.
And it's a made-for-tv movie anyway. Even I know it's not "movie theater" worthy.
EDIT:
Here's a kind of behind the scenes trailer.

Pretty much the only reason I'm not a huge fan of cartoons-turned-live-action is because I generally would much rather watch an animated movie than a live action one. Just personal preference, I guess.

The main reason why I'm always skeptical with animated to live action films is because they are generally terrible.
It's great when you're a kid but otherwise they just.....aren't that good.

The Fairly Oddparents cartoon hasn't even been watchable for a long time now. Why would this be any better?

My parents got rid of my Cartoon Network access before the last season of Justice League Unlimited
Today I finally decided to rectify their grievous error and I'm downloading it. Tomorrow, I will watch the shit out of some Justice League.

The worst thing about Clone High is that they leave you at a major cliffhanger in the last episode. The series were discontinued after that.

Cartoon to live action comparisons. Sorry it's so small.
Most of them look like terrible, terrible cosplays to me.

That CGI Cosmo and Wanda made me throw up in my mouth a little.
