Western Cartoons/Comics
Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
I heard that South Park is ending soon :c
Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
Thank fuck. The Comedy Central can stop with all those marathons. The only good things that have ever come from SP is Taco Flavored Kisses and Blame Canada.
Maybe CC can focus more on Tosh and Futurama now.

South Park is just tooo....crude....for me, if that's the right word. I never enjoyed a single episode...hell, not even commercials for it

South Park is too crude, but Tosh isn't. I'm sorry, but this deserves a reaction image.

I think one of the worst things from South Park is Chef's death.
It was excessive.
Honestly, I think South Park takes things a bit too far at some times.

Taking it too far is the entire point of South Park.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
True.
It's mostly a hit and miss for me with those episodes.
Chef's death was kinda the negative 'over the top'. I didn't see anything funny about that death. Were we supposed to laugh at his misfortune, the sight of seeing animals attack?
Other moments it's laughable, like the episode with Global Warming (I recall it being about that) which was making fun of Day After Tomorrow.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
His death was because the actor who voiced him left, in case you didn't know. He got offended about one episode about niggers I think. But he was apparently ok with all the other episodes that could be considered offensive to everything in existence.

Chef's death was ridiculous. They hold the satire sign high but they were just pissy over the actor leaving and decided to act like children.

Actually, it's said he left because of the Scientology episode.Syobon wrote:His death was because the actor who voiced him left, in case you didn't know. And yeah, I heard about him leaving not long after. People were bawwing about it for some time.
Like Exeres said, they were sort of childish about it. They could just have taken a picture of Isaac and rustled over it, recorded it and send it to Isaac.
Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
I think they were also trying to make clear Chef would never come back. And to do that they had to kill him. In their defence, it's pretty hard to kill off a beloved character humorously.
Idk why I always feel the need to play the devils advocate.

Oh yeah, that's right. Well, that is a pretty stupid stupid reason to leave.Actually, it's said he left because of the Scientology episode.

Haha, I love South Park.
It's funny; while I usually don't bust out laughing or anything, I'm usually impressed by how cleverly the episode conveys a message.
But then an episode comes along where all the water in a water park turns into piss and I'm just kind of weirded out.

JWalkZero of youtube did a good Boondocks tribute/Tupac tribute:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
I really want a Boondocks movie to end the series. I was satisfied with season 3, don't get me wrong, but I want to see if Aaron McGruder can pull of the most life changing animated movie in American history. He has the intelligence for it.

I love you.Firestorm wrote:The Amazing Screw-On Head:

This has everything: Paul Giamatti as a talking robot head, Patton Oswalt as an Alfred-like butler, Mike Mignola (Hellboy) animation style, steampunk atmosphere, werewolves, old ladies and a monkey with a gun, a gothic lady who can talk to rats, Abraham Lincoln and DAVID HYDE PIERCE AS A WISE CRACKING ZOMBIE.
The fact that Sci-Fi (or the Syphilis channel) didn't pick this up for a series just shows what a steaming pile of derp that network is now.
The Amazing Screw-On Head is one of my favorite things Mignola did. So sad it was never picked up.
