Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
I watched the last episode of Sym-Bionic Titan. It sucks booty that there won't be any more. Fuck you, Cartoon Network.
Burn 'em to shreds, tear 'em to ashes.
Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
So I just read the Watchmen graphic novel, after seeing the movie. I liked it, more than I liked the movie I think, but the ending leaves me emotionally confused. I dunno, I'd like to hear some other people's thoughts on it?

It's supposed to be that ambiguous. It's the point. There's no right or wrong way to interpret the ending.

Why would you promise so much and then yank it away.

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
What do you mean by emotionally confused? As in you don't know if Veidt is right (lolrhyming)? I, personally, didn't really like how everybody spontaneously decides that the alien was a good idea. Mostly because it really wasn't.Syobon wrote:So I just read the Watchmen graphic novel, after seeing the movie. I like the comic a whole lot better than the movie, though, mostly because of the little things where all the different stories synchronized that the movie cut out. My favourite part of the comic is, by far, the panel where Laurie's grabbing the thug by the junk while the interviewer asks Dr. Manhattan, "Am I making you uncomfortable?"

Re: Western Cartoons/Comics
Emotionally confused in that: I've rationally decided which side I was on, but I felt pretty weird, it's hard to describe it. I just felt like talking to someone about it. Also, Rorschach's death
. Also, the ending in the movie seemed to make more sense to me than the one in the comic. But maybe the ending in the comic was intended to be so ridiculous?

Could you explain more detailed why you didn't like it Sloth? I'm curious.
