EDIT: Sollux and Dave are the only kids who have died and had their corpses shown. Relevent? Maybe not, but I always thought the two of them were similar...

That comic actually is a callback to something else.

Let's just say that there was once a really weird thread on the MSPA forums and leave it at that.

(Mostly because I forget what the thread was called and I'm not sure if I can find it)
