His writing style and interests don't match it at all. Jade's penpal loves wrestling and machines, and is very polite.

Eridan is a genocidal asshole who kills things for fun.

He kills lusus to keep Feferi's lusus voice down, so that it doesn't kill the entire troll race. Vriska then kills the trolls, since they probably won't survive without a lusus and she also needs to feed her guardian.

It's necessary, if you are going to have to kill many trolls and lusii, why not enjoy it? This is all they've known, so how could you call them bad?

It would be OKAY if he was only doing it out of necessity, like Feferi. But he likes it. That makes it bad.

In his mind and blood , he is a king, a ruler over all trolls. He had already declared his hatred for most land dwellers, he's reveling in his triumph of land trolls. It's bad for some people, good for others, necessary for everyone.
