The MSPA Wiki helps a lot to understand all the wierd plot shit that happens in Homestuck. Also some neat things and subtle things Andrew puts in.
But this is sort of creeping me out.

No, not really. I skim most of the time since there's so much going on in Homestuck, especially during the beginning. I wouldn't have picked up on something like that.

As to what they mean, I really want to know. It seems like something apocalyptic but that's only a theory. It's must be something important though, judging by this:

I can't say any more about the subject. But I can say I have never read a webcomic or any kind of comic that is as confusing as Homestuck can be. Andrew really has an incredible brain to make all this stuff up.
Or just a lot of time on his hands. This guy finds the time to update every day, it's incredible.

If I've been informed correctly, he does this for his job. He can actually make a living off of MSPA, because of merchendise and all of the porn advertisements on the site.

And a lot of the connection stuff he most likely starts on accident, and then as soon as he notices it happen again, he's like, "Okay, I'mma make some plot twist connection here and make it seem like it was on purpose. Yeah."

For example. The kids' first names are all 4 letters, and they're 13 years old. Their last names are all 7 letters, which adds up to 11, plus 2 names=13 and things like that.
The Trolls' names are all 6 letters each, and their common number is 612. 6+6=12. And then their names have meanings and stuff.

Or, you know, you could read what he says on his formspring and see that he does all that on purpose

Andrew admitted he made Eridan love magic and wizards because the fandom kept calling him Harry Potter

As sad as it is, I totally didn't even think of that. most of the "extra" information that I get is what Sloth tells me after he reads this magical thing somewhere.

But really, though, I doubt that he had ALL of these details planned out from the beginning. I would think that a few of them were just kind of coincidental, so he rolled with it and then expanded on them.
