The MSPA Wiki helps a lot to understand all the wierd plot shit that happens in Homestuck. Also some neat things and subtle things Andrew puts in.

As to what they mean, I really want to know. It seems like something apocalyptic but that's only a theory. It's must be something important though, judging by this:
I can't say any more about the subject. But I can say I have never read a webcomic or any kind of comic that is as confusing as Homestuck can be. If I've been informed correctly, he does this for his job. He can actually make a living off of MSPA, because of merchendise and all of the porn advertisements on the site.
And a lot of the connection stuff he most likely starts on accident, and then as soon as he notices it happen again, he's like, "Okay, I'mma make some plot twist connection here and make it seem like it was on purpose. Yeah."
For example. The kids' first names are all 4 letters, and they're 13 years old. Their last names are all 7 letters, which adds up to 11, plus 2 names=13 and things like that.
The Trolls' names are all 6 letters each, and their common number is 612. 6+6=12. And then their names have meanings and stuff.
