First step: Do you have the latest version of the JRE? If not, install it now.
Next step: Go to the folder where you installed the JRE. there should be a subfolder there called "bin". Copy the path to the bin directory.
Next step: Right click on "Computer" or "My Computer" and go to Properties. (If you are missing the "Computer" icon on the desktop, go to the control panel, select "view by: small icons" and click on "System")
Next step: If you are on vista or 7, go to "Advanced System Settings".
Next step: Go to the "Advanced" tab. Click on "Environment Variables...". In the System variables box, search for "Path". Select it and press "Edit".
Next step: At the end of the "Variable value" field, add a semicolon ( and paste in the path to the JRE bin directory you copied before.
Next step: Click on OK. Again on OK. Again on OK.
Next step: Try to run the "run.cmd".
If it still won't work, go to the start menu and search for the "Command prompt". Usually in "Accessories".
Next step: Launch the command prompt. A black window should appear. Type in javaw and press enter. If it says something like "program not found", restart your pc and try to launch pesterchum again.

REALLY, I'm starting to WONDER where the HELL Andrew is TAKING THIS STORY. We ALREADY know that BOTH the TROLLS' and KIDS' SESSIONS will fail, or SOMETHING along those lines. It's an INTERESTING way to tell a STORY, but I'm AFRAID the ending might be UNSATISFYING if they truly FAIL.
