Iron Man 2 was incredibly mediocre. It felt like a giant plug for the Avengers mvoie.

Iron Man 2: Not as good as the original but still pretty cool. If you like Marvel and the Avengers you won't be disappointed. If you don't like them then why are you watching this movie in the first place?

In other news OMFG SUPER 8!!!!! Can't wait.

I felt it still focued on Tony Stark and Iron Man but had some of the Avengers flare in there with SHIELD, however that plot involving them did not detract from the movie and the main story involving Tony. The actors on the other definitely did.

I disagree. Every time something Avengers related popped up, everyone cheered, and it felt like the movie was going "HEY LOOK WHAT WE HAVE HERE WINK WINK". It really took me out of the movie.
