I like All Quiet on the Western Front (1930, because the 1970's one is horrible)
A very long engagement
and pretty much every war movie that does not have an INSANELY STUPID STORYLINE WITH LOVE CRAP IN IT.

Hope you enjoy it. I haven't seen myself yet, but since I work in a theatre, I get to hear the credits.

Hey, Angus, have you seen Paths of Glory? It's about World War I, directed by Stanley Kubrick.

I thought it was pretty amazing.
Definitely deserves the rating it got, but oh my goodness, it was fun to watch.

Finally saw Avatar today.
Say what you will about the plot but holy fuck that was like an eyegasm.

Ah, yeah, I forgot that I saw Avatar two days ago. Pretty much the same thing as what Mander said.

Avatar did have pretty awesome graphics. So pretty~
I still think they could have done more with the storyline. The wheelchair-confinement could have been a better plot device; that is perhaps what bothered me the most.
