Avatar is just ugh. I couldn't care less if it changed the industry forever, it doesn't make it good to me. Style over substance, etc.

The only thing that Avatar seems to have accomplished is make everyone obsessed with 3D.
Which is pretty daisies annoying.

quick out of context spoiler:
at the end his artificial heart which he needs to shock to get going again starts to run out so he climbs up a pylon and shocks himself, then, while hes on fire after flying off the pylon, he kills the big bad from the last movie whos now a head in a jar, and then he gets the big bad in this one and beats the shit out of him and throws him in a swimming pool, then, while still on fire, he just walks away, hugs a vietnamese prostitute, setting her on fire, and the gives the screen the finger while burning to death
